Challenger Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 Rev. 5, reveals God the Father, passing on to the Lamb (Jesus) a book sealed with seven seals. Latter into Rev., John refers to this book as "the Lamb's book of life" (Rev. 13:8; 21:27). This makes perfect sense since having received it from the Father, it now belongs to Jesus the Lamb. Why did the Father write this book? At what point in time does prophecy reveal that Jesus received this book and opened the first seal and the time in which the last seal will be opened? What does each seal reveal as they are opened? Quote

Challenger Posted May 12, 2025 Author Posted May 12, 2025 Appreciate your response. Had not know this book could be gotten online. However, I have one of my own. Mine is the 1944, revised version, do you know the time of the first printing? Smith in his book, is passing along a belief that took root in the 3rd. century according to what I read on pg. 106, 108, of our SDA bible commentaries, vol., 7. Our church (SDA) still holds to this teaching today. If you hold to this teaching, how would you answer my first and second questions? No need to answer the third, as I am well aware of how we interpret the seals. Quote
