Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted June 17, 2025 Moderators Posted June 17, 2025 Scholars have proposed a typical pattern by which sects transition to a more formal, organized Church. The following article explores how that issue might apply to the Seventh-day Adventist Church. https://atoday.org/i-alone-can-fix-it-how-churches-grow-and-evolve/ phkrause 1 Quote Gregory

JoeErwin Posted August 6, 2025 Posted August 6, 2025 Is anyone here interested in medieval history or the crusades? Quote

JoeErwin Posted August 7, 2025 Posted August 7, 2025 Thank you, my old friend Gregory! I mean, "my longtime friend, Gregory." But, yes, we are both 84, and others our age seem to be pretty old. I'm feeling my way around here on the site. Sometimes I have difficulty signing in, but it is not because the system does not recognize me. Instead, it says someone else has an account with my email address. I changed my password and eventually got in, although I have not yet figured out how to do so reliably--aside from just being persistent. I'm wondering if anyone here is interested in genealogy. More specifically, genealogy as a window on history. I'm finding remarkable connections using the LDS FamilySearch database. Quote
