Members phkrause Posted September 13, 2025 Members Posted September 13, 2025 This false teaching is not only foreign to the Bible—it lacks logical consistency. https://adventistreview.org/theology/bible-study/eternal-submission-of-the-son/ Gustave and Kevin H 2 Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Gustave Posted September 15, 2025 Posted September 15, 2025 I've learned to be very cautious when reading things from Adventist scholars but at 1st glance the premise of the article is something I agree with - I'm pleasantly surprised here phkrause! Aquinas and St. Augustine wrote about this. Kevin H and phkrause 2 Quote

Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted October 2, 2025 Moderators Posted October 2, 2025 The Internet is full of discussion on this topic, including citations to the Review article by Angel Rodríguez. However, it appears that the article has been removed from the Internet as I cannot find it. All citations, including the one at the beginning of this thread, come up empty. phkrause 1 Quote Gregory

Gustave Posted October 4, 2025 Posted October 4, 2025 Was there a reversal of position here that flowed down from the magisterial authority of the General Conference? Quote
Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted October 4, 2025 Moderators Posted October 4, 2025 There are a number of articles on the internet that cite the article and suggest that is is wrong. None of the ones that I have found. give enough information for me to know what the article actually said. I suspect that the Review removed it simply because the editors did not want further discussion. I really do not know. phkrause 1 Quote Gregory
