Key Guy Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Full Text: http://www.thanhniennews.com/politics/?catid=1&newsid=23541 Quote: Two large Protestant sects in Ho Chi Minh City - the Vietnam Seventh-Day Adventist Church and the Vietnam Grace Baptist Church - have officially received certificates of religious practice. The certificates were handed over to the sects' dignitaries by Nguyen Thanh Xuan, Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, who also took the opportunity to wish them a merry Christmas at a ceremony Saturday. Xuan affirmed that the Vietnam Seventh-Day Adventist Church and the Vietnam Grace Baptist Church are provided with all legitimate rights as well as favorable conditions for performing religious practice, printing and publishing prayer books, building or upgrading worship places and organizing seminars and religious events. Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted December 25, 2006 Members Posted December 25, 2006 How cool!!! Almost missed this story.... Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Key Guy Posted December 25, 2006 Author Posted December 25, 2006 According to a Mission Spotlight report that we saw over the weekend, there may be as many as 400,000+ Adventists worshiping and studying in Nam without being officially affiliated with the church there! Quote
