Sulla Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Hi all I thought you might like to see the matte painting of Noah's Ark high up on mount Ararat after the flood. Quote
Aliensanctuary Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Too cool, Sulla. How long did it take you to do Noah's Ark? How much do you generally charge per hour? I've got a few ideas, but no computer art skills or software to even attempt anything. I have several projects in mind, including a few slide shows, one on the Sanctuary and one illustrating the words of Jesus Christ. I'm thinking in terms of a watercolor look at this time, rather than realistic artwork for the Jesus slide show. I would want the entire project, narration, words, and art on DVD. This would involve 30-40 simple illustrations. You may too busy with your own projects, though, to do some outside work. Amelia Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Hey Sulla, your pics are awesome. How about putting some life into that one. Maybe a dove or two. Or a little chipmunk on a rock. Footprints in the dirt. Or ignore me all together and leave it as it is. Sulla Posted December 28, 2006 Author Posted December 28, 2006 Aliensanctuary I have the time right now if you have the money:) Just email me at pat@hpnc.com and we can talk about it. Amelia since its a matte painting its really ment to have live action composited on top of it to give it life. When I get the time I would like to go back and do this. Have some birds flying and people working etc etc. Should make a nice video clip. Quote

Sulla Posted December 28, 2006 Author Posted December 28, 2006 Neil D thats easy. The bracing is so it does not fall off of the side of the mountain:) Basicly its painted so that it did not come to rest on a perfectly flat place. As a matter of fact it always kind of bothered me that its normaly painted coming to rest in some nice flat valley that looks like its in the hart of england. When we have pretty good evidence its very very high up on the side of ararat. Quote
