SDAs & The UN

Are you aware of the relationship that the SDA Church with the United Nations (UN)?  Recently some Adventists have called for that relationship to be ended.  The following article explores that issue.

• A factual record of how the status has been used over the last 10 years

• Theological and policy guidance on how to maintain distinctiveness while participating in global forums

This approach does not dismiss the sincerity of those who raised the issue. It takes their questions seriously while ensuring that decisions are based on accurate information and wide consultation.

We certainly have not had clear explanations of what is going on with the UN relationship and the work of ADRA.  If the church had been transparent on these issues, there may have been more people to trust them. As it is, trust is broken.

That would be WONDERFUL, however, I do not expect that.

This is why this has grown to be such an issue. Because this has not happened and never will.
