Here's a last-minute notice:

New Year's Eve party, my place, Dec. 31, 6:30ish to whenever.

Pizza, ping pong, table games, meeting new friends.

If you're in the Sacramento area and think you'd like to come, PM me for details.

It's going to be fun! You can start your New Year's resolutions the next day.

If I start the CA party here in Sydney it could go almost 24 hours round the globe....not sure I will be home but Sammy will....wish I could come to yours too LynnDel, have a great time.

Incidentally I think I must be really off the planet today, I woke up this morning thinking we had forgotten to watch the fireworks on TV last night - we were watching the Edinburgh Military Tattoo - finally realised that the fireworks are tonight and I had not missed anything LOL

No party here. It will be just me, Zim and the TV.

By the looks of it I will be at work not at home, guess I can party with the midwives on night duty!!

In Key West at midnight, they are dropping...

1) A Conch Shell

2) A Drag Queen in a Giant Shoe

3) A Pirate Wench

... in different locations of Old Town and the harbor. They close off Duval and some side streets and the booze flows while the people are packed shoulder-to-shoulder.

We live 2 miles from that scene. It will be enough. The party-ers won't affect us at all at home. I will be on-call and hope to get automotive emergency service calls all night (and the resulting tips!)

I gotta work til 8pm. Otherwise I'd attend new years vespers and communion at church.

I prayed for twenty years but received no answer until I prayed with my legs.

Sadly, we have more than our share of gays, transvestites and lesbians, so a lot of things are the 'norm' here.
