There is a YT video of a woman, (British researcher?) who says the church bought the trademark of the blue zones and is marketing it. It's not a flattering video in my opinion.

Here is a summary of the video:

# The Blue Zones Myth: Unpacking Dietary Guidelines and Vested Interests

This video features an interview with Belinda Fettke, an independent researcher who challenges the widely accepted "Blue Zones" concept. Fettke argues that the popular narrative surrounding these longevity hotspots and their associated diets is not based on objective truth but rather on the influence of vested interests and religious ideologies, particularly the Seventh-day Adventist church.

**Key Points:**

* **Challenging "Real Food" Advocacy:** The discussion touches upon why Fettke's husband was allegedly "silenced" for advocating for "real food" principles, suggesting a suppression of alternative dietary viewpoints.

* **Origins of Adventist Health Message:** The video explores the historical roots of the Seventh-day Adventist church's health message, implying it has shaped modern dietary recommendations.

* **Spread of Adventist Health Reform:** Fettke discusses how Adventist health reform principles are reportedly being disseminated across America.

* **The Fabrication of the Blue Zones Diet:** A central theme is the assertion that the "Blue Zones Diet" itself is a fabricated concept, not an organic discovery of naturally healthy eating patterns.

* **Exposing the Blue Zones Industry:** The interview aims to expose the commercial and ideological underpinnings of the "Blue Zones industry," suggesting it profits from a misleading narrative.

Fettke's research suggests that dietary and health guidelines promoted today, including those associated with the Blue Zones, are heavily influenced by specific religious doctrines and commercial interests rather than purely scientific evidence.
