According to Evolution, a single cell came from a spark in the primordial soup.

For the sake of discussion, let's assume that is true.

Then what?

How did it eat? Where did its fuel come from?  Cells need fuel.

---------------------

How Cells Get and Use Their Fuel

Cells obtain fuel primarily through nutrients absorbed from their environment, which they then convert into a usable energy molecule called ATP (adenosine triphosphate). Here's how the process works:

Getting Fuel Into the Cell

Cells acquire fuel from glucose, fats, and amino acids that come from:

  • The food you eat (digested and absorbed through your intestines)
  • The bloodstream that carries nutrients to cells
  • Storage molecules within the cell or body (like glycogen or fat stores)

Glucose is the most common fuel source. Cells take it in through transport proteins embedded in their cell membrane, which actively move glucose molecules across the membrane barrier.

Converting Fuel to Energy

Once inside the cell, fuel molecules are broken down through a series of chemical reactions collectively called cellular respiration. The main stages are:

Glycolysis Glucose is split into smaller molecules (pyruvate) in the cell's cytoplasm, releasing a small amount of energy that's captured in ATP molecules.

Citric Acid Cycle (Krebs Cycle) Pyruvate is further broken down inside the mitochondria, releasing more energy.

Electron Transport Chain The final stage occurs in the mitochondrial membrane, where electrons are transferred and the majority of ATP is produced.

Why ATP Matters

ATP is the universal currency of cellular energy. When your cells need energy to do anything—contract muscles, synthesize proteins, pump ions, or divide—they break down ATP molecules, releasing the energy stored in their chemical bonds. This is why mitochondria are often called the "powerhouse of the cell"—they're responsible for producing most of the ATP your cells need to function.

------------------------

Where did the ATP come from?

Where did the glucose, fats, and amino acids come from?

How long could a cell survive without food?

-------------------------------

AI says: A cell growing in isolation in a lab petri dish (without external fuel) typically survives only hours to a few days before dying.

Well if we believe in the Bible than automatically evolution is false!

Yes, but many Gen z's and Gen X have doubts because of the Evolution they were taught in school.
