Hanseng Posted May 23 Posted May 23 I feel sorry for Mark. The OJ lawyers managed to make the trial about racism rather than murder. The lie that he told was that he had never used the "N" word. That was such an obvious lie. Every white person from that era has used the "N" word, almost always in a pejorative sense. Johnny Cochran warned the prosecution to not call Fuhrman to the stand; nevertheless, they did. I don't understand why Mark Fuhrman lied about using the "N" word. I guess the defense created an atmosphere in which he felt it "necessary" to lie. Had he just said, "Yes, I've used it many times," maybe the trial outcome would have been different. Kevin H 1 Quote
