Woody Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 I just know that many of us have had a hero growing up. Mine was the quarterback for the San Fransisco 49ers and his name was John Brodie. I thought he was the greatest football player of all time. When I was around 20 I was able to sit down and talk with him for a few hours. I was even on TV with him for all my friends to see. I was so proud. It made me think of how I need to be proud of when I am in God's presence and to value that as much as I did my hero John Brodie. Because Of a disability .... I am not always able to attend church ... but I find that when I do have the privilege it is much more like the Lord is my hero than when I was able to attend regularly. It is now something I really value ... just like the time I spent with Brodie. Do any of you have hero encounters that you could share here? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
