Is the GC getting it right?

Twenty years ago the "atmosphere" surrounding the GC seemed to be in alot more turmoil than there seems to be now.

There were demontrations outide and GC sessions and councils. There were problems with independent ministries, David Koresh like groups, the womens ordination issue. There was talk of conferences splitting from the main body of the church. Scandals about misapproriation of funds, sex and other stuff.

Things seem alot quiter these days. It seems like the GC must be getting things right.

Just a thought - are some of those issues/groups just doing their own thing these days and effectively bypassing the GC?

That is not an aspersion on the leadership of the president, whom I respect.
