In our age of International dialogue, it should not be unexpected to find self-appointed clitics of Adventism who suggest major revisions of our mission and ministry. What is surprising is to learn that Shane Anderson, the Senior pastor of Pioneer Memorial Church at Andrews University propose an extrema modification of the Adventist role for SDA Clergy.

The proposal that he makes wkouold radically change how we do ministry in the West.

No settled pastors. That is the way it is in 90% of our church. 

 

We see our pastor 3 or 4 times a year. Seems to work well. No control issues like USA.

I know its not a popular message, but he is right. In the fastest growing division of the church, SSD, we have 1 pastor to every 7-9 churches. 

That district produces at least 100 baptisms per year. Often a new church plant. It is amazing.
