Really the judge allowed the parents to impose abortion on thier minor child. I am not sure the US courts would rule the same way. This is a person under 18 years of age who is married, pregnant, a parent, a member of the armed forces, or financially independent and living away from home." So I believe in the USA her parents could not force her to have an abortion. Certainly as a paramedic I must treat her as an adult. /Bevin Quote
