That just sounded so bizarre to me :) Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Administrators Gail Posted December 8, 2008 Author Administrators Posted December 8, 2008 So, yes, it was the king of Assyria and you can find the story in 2 Kings 19:35,36 and Isaiah 37:36,37 Next! Now I know that's only 11, but these are the ones that my Bible actually calls Judges. These guys: Shamgar Barak, Abimelech, Jothan and Gaal are there but not labeled as Judges. But I guess 3 of them would have to to make up the 14. But I think that at first Samuel was considered a Judge also. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
