What the question was asking was, "Who is this wife of Uriah mentioned in the genealogy of Matthew 1?" The answer is, of course, Bathsheba. Sometimes we do notice weird differences in various versions. Pam has pointed many out and it's amazing that she's able to figure out the wording so quickly. Good detective work! Administrators Gail Posted May 8, 2009 Author Administrators Posted May 8, 2009 I didn't look up the verse you quoted, Pam, but I bet it's the one that says, "Thy words were found and I did eat them, and they were the joy and rejoicing of my heart" I also thought of John the Revelator, who ate the little book and although it was sweet in his mouth, it turned bitter in his stomach. But if you look a little further in Ezekiel, you will see that Ezekiel was actually commanded to eat a scroll- Ezekiel 2:9-3:3 I love Ezekiel! He had such an interesting experience! Amos, Hosea, Micah (according to my Bible) Isaiah prophesied during reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah Isaiah 1:1 Amos prophesied during reign of Uzziah Amos 1:1 Micah prophesied during reign of Jotham and Hezekiah and Ahaz Micah 1:1 Hosea prophesied during reign of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah Hosea 1:1 If I had to pick two, I'd say Hosea and Micah... but Amos prophesied during Uzziah's time as well....so I'm not sure which two you want...
