Whatever the explanation as far as this occurrence, such words certainly would seem consistent with other things you have said about this forum. I'm wondering if you might not be more comfortable following through with what you said you would do--that is, set up another place to hold discussions. You could run it exactly the way you want. You could take your loyal following from 'Ed's Place' with you, who would recognize your talents and hang upon your every word. And, you might even do better than that and net one-third of those active here! Such a group could give you the recognition to which you may feel entitled.

I guess we might need to ask you the same question, David. Quite a different situation. The party being referred to in my post has in fact stated his intent to set up an alternative forum where things would be done in a particular way, and has in fact invited people to become part of that forum--as you well know. As for any descriptive language pertaining to such an individual, it is, indeed, descriptive based upon observations on this forum and elsewhere.

David, I am surprized at you....What you are suggesting is that Ed leave here....to this, I would disagree. I have no problem with Ed having different viewpoints. I have no problem discussing with patience and learning from Ed. Again, the problem that I have is that often when people disagree with him, his posting changes and comes across as somewhat abusive...If he could just change the interaction of the posts to something more user friendly, I think that he would be a very welcomed user.
