Lil Star Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 You know, I have a FANTASTIC life outside of the internet. I come here to try and find Christ as I have found churches to be so impersonal. We had a funeral several months back at the Sunnyside church and hardly anyone from the church showed up even though the guy went to church there almost every week. I posted something on here about it and nothing was said. No condolences; nothing. I come here to try and find good clean fellowship to only find the same type of 'clicks' as in the world of churches. However I do come back; not very often as I DO have a life outside of this medium. I have met some really nice people here whom I enjoy speaking with. Others I could really care less. We have had problems in the past and continue to do so from what I see. I will not back down from my personal opinions and thoughts. I've tried to share and only got hunted. I've tried to find Jesus in posts only to be shot. I've tried walking on eggshells here only to be cut. Usually if I come here; I tend to only read until I feel convicted by my Lord to post; then to find that it's the same thing all over again. I guess I should go back to the reading and if the Lord compells me to post again, I will duck for cover and hope that the holes from all the pecking will not open back up. To those who are the friends I keep in touch with. I thank you. I am only glad that my worldly life is very very good! Quote

That is sad...People's lives get busy and sometimes they can't get time off work because work insists that you can only go to funerals of your relatives...not friends...I am glad that you were able to pay your last respects to him... Yes, there are some really nice people here...I prefer to tease and joke around...sometimes that takes people aback..and they don't know what to make of it. Well, yes, you have to stand up for your opinions...So, don't back down...unless convinced to do so...and listen to other's opinions, because I find that some people have some really good arguements for thier opinions, even though it conflicts with mind..Ususally when that happens, I will ponder it and ask God about it...We kinda mull it around until there is an answer...I got a lot of mulling around to do... I just have tolerance for a lot of opinions and I have been known to defend opinions that I do not believe in. Thus ... tolerance. The only problem is that it can be very confusing for those who want to figure out what "I" believe. Personally ... I don't really think it is all that important what "I" believe.
