Stan Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 We never know what hides under the skin of someone next to us. So many people are smiling and living in their own personal hell, and often to not feel the effects of the flames until later in life.. Dr. Shane Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 As was the case with my family, often times sexual abuse is taking place in the same home and no one knows about it except the perpetrator and victim. My father sexually abused three of my sisters and none of them knew he was doing it to any of the others. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Moderators Jeannieb43 Posted January 29, 2008 Moderators Posted January 29, 2008 There are numerous places where this has been mentioned on the Internet. To search simply plug in:<Joseph Cardillo> or < Lori Lee Hansen-Beard> into a search engine. The major article is in a password protected site. However I finaly found a place where it is open to the public. Go to: http://dailycamera.com/news/2008/jan/19/mother-arrested-on-abuse-charges/ Something weird just happened to me while I was reading the daily camera link. An Instant Messaging window opened suddenly on my screen, from a person whose name was unintelligible to me. Asking for some type of sex conversation. I was so shocked by it I failed to make note of the name or what it asked. But there was a choice of "Reply" or "Spam" so I clicked Spam and it disappeared. All this happened without my even being online with any IM source. How did this entity happen to clue in on my screen? (without using any of my screen names) Quote Jeannie<br /><br /><br />...Change is inevitable; growth is optional....
Stan Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Because of problems people are having ... here is the text coppied and pasted from the above link.. Hansen-Beard turned herself in at the Boulder County Jail on Dec. 19, and posted a $1,000 bond. She is expected in court Feb. 19 for a pre-trial conference. Joseph Cardillo, 47, of Niwot, pleaded not guilty Friday to sex assault charges. He's accused of using a sex toy on the child and drinking her urine. Reached Friday afternoon, Hansen-Beard declined to elaborate on her statement about police. Hansen-Beard said she has not seen her daughter, who is now living with her grandparents, since Dec. 14. She's not allowed to contact the girl without permission from the Department of Social Services, according to court documents. According to Hansen-Beard's arrest warrant, authorities were called to the girl's school in October after teachers reported that she often showed up late, unfed and wearing dirty clothes. Teachers described the girl as emotionally fragile, and reported that she cried all the time and had no focus on school work. One teacher said that during a parent-teacher conference, Hansen-Beard said her daughter is a child of the sun and can't get up when it's dark. The mother also said the girl's eyes get "close-up X-ray vision" every night at midnight, allowing her to diagnose herself with sickle cell anemia, the warrant states. It says the girl told investigators she and Cardillo slept in the same bed together, usually naked, and would bathe together and use a hot tub in the nude. She said he caught her urine in cupped hands to drink it and once used a sex toy on her. Hansen-Beard said her daughter had told her about the nudity and urine-drinking incidents, according to the warrant, but she told deputies it wasn't hurting anyone and she knows other people who drink urine. Hansen-Beard also said she asked her daughter if she was forced to do anything, and the girl said no, so Hansen-Beard had to respect that. Hansen-Beard told police she met Cardillo two years ago at a Hare Krishna meeting in Boulder. She described him as family, but never went to his Niwot home -- instead meeting him in public places to drop off her daughter, the warrant said. A trial for Cardillo, who is free on a $100,000 bond, has been set for June 2. He faces a possible life sentence in prison if convicted on charges of sex assault on a child by a person in position of trust and a pattern of assaulting the girl. Hansen-Beard said Friday that before her arrest she had plans to tutor students of all ages. Lil Star Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 As of late I have also found that I get those as well. I never used to but all of a sudden, I get all sorts of spam IM things like that. You didn't have any IM session of any sort on your computer that was open? I find that I get them even when I am offline. Usually even when I am online with yahoo talking to "my guy" I am invisible and STILL get those stupid things. I will ALWAYS click on spam! I don't enjoy getting them and thus will not accept anything from anyone. Other things I get are the sex advertisements. Spam them as well. I just wonder how they are getting my name when I am not even online. My advice, take it or leave it is to just keep spamming the IM Quote

That is how stuff winds up in your mail box, your messenger, icq and all sorts of other types of communication. I use gmail (google email) and it took a couple of years before I started receiving spam of any type. No matter the strength of the filters there are people out there working to hack them. The ones I get the most are for viagra, instant loans and Canadian pharmaceuticals. Amelia Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Oh I forgot to add: There are online pyramid programs that offer young people the chance to earn money by forwarding as many of these different "ads" to mail boxes. Hence the spamming of many porn and drug sites.
