But one must admit it DOES sound a bit questionable, standing alone. As such, one can get some mileage out of it--particularly when a pastor quotes it! Although, as the incident reportedly occurred, it is rather brutal. Unfortunate, indeed. One would hope for a kinder, gentler persona. Dave Quote

Adds a boyish touch. I did not doubt the quote's authencity when I originally read it in the bio's. Reputable historians. Simply, when Laz quoted it, he did not include the context, so, standing alone, it was quite a juicy morsel--ESPECIALLY for an SDA minister to claim as HIS views! hehehe But, c'est la vie! Quote
