Administrators Gail Posted October 30, 2008 Administrators Posted October 30, 2008 I am sorry to hear about your sudden loss, Richard. I hope that whatever items you need to attend to will fall into place smoothly allowing for your family to focus on grieving and spending valuable moments together. Thank you for your clarification on this thread. I'm looking forward to your return. ((( Richard ))) Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Woody Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 I may be absent from this discussion for a while. My father died today suddenly and I'm sure you can understand that my energies need to be placed elsewhere for now. I wanted to let everyone know that my absence is not because I'm offended or angry. Thanks for your understanding! Richard Oh Richard. I am so sorry. May you and the rest of the family be comforted during this sad time. And thanks for letting us know that you are not offended. We will look forward to when you return. I think there is an obituary section here. So, when you are able ... let us know a little about your Dad. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Moderators John317 Posted November 4, 2008 Moderators Posted November 4, 2008 .... if we should impose our viewpoint on others who are happy with what they have and try to change them. Don't we do exactly thst all the time? How so? Can you give some examples how "we do exactly this all the time" and maybe suggest how it could be stopped? Quote John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

But I did have someone years ago become very angry at me an ask me why I had not told him about something I was selling. He told me that I should be embarrassed. I was selling dairy supplies farm to farm and they were using a very small diameter pipeline for milking and were hurting themselves and their cows. They were happy until they learned the truth. Isn't what we know about the Bible a little more important than pipes, cows and money? Quote Visit and Share the BibleTimelines.com URL !
