Administrators Gail Posted October 21, 2008 Administrators Posted October 21, 2008 This nice EGW quote was passed along to me: Quote: When in faith we take hold of His strength, He will change, wonderfully change, the most hopeless, discouraging outlook. He will do this for the glory of His name. 8T 12. Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

Guest truthseeker007 Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 I wish God was just around the corner, Always prepared to give me spiritual guidance, like a father and a friend, Everyday i am asking, when is my misery going to end? I am also wondering, do angels have patience? Maybe it is too late, I don t understand why i keep on struggling, I am looking for love, but then there is hate, Covering me like a shadow from the sun, I wish i was a child again, that kind of life used to be fun Do i know too much? Is this all i get? Where is my angels' touch? Why do fallen angels fill libraries with my sins? Once i am dead, i can only hope God will tell, I do not understand why i do the wrong things, Do i really belong in hell? Still i am thankfull, because i was able to share precious moments with an angel, she used to be so sweet, I thought she meant it when she said, We were going to get married and i was all she need, Now she is gone, and i am feeling so sad Her hair was brigher than the sun, her teeth wither than the moon, I fell in love with her right from the start, we didn t play 'too serious to soon' We were one for so many years, Why d you had to leave me with so many tears? So where do i go now? I have been looking God everywhere, Maybe there are angels somewhere, willing to guide me once again, But i geuss it doesn t work that way Anyway at least i ve met you guys, You are the only friends i ve got left, Please don t reject me, If ever i enter have, who is willing to see, the guy i am nobody knows, Just my bare naked soul, At least i ve never performed a show, all i could be is myself, that s what i did... Administrators Gail Posted October 23, 2008 Author Administrators Posted October 23, 2008 Thank you, Truthseeker, for blessing us with your presence here! Members phkrause Posted October 23, 2008 Members Posted October 23, 2008 I second Gail & Redwoods comments. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Guest truthseeker007 Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 No thank you. Nearly all the people only look at first impressions. Then they decide to judge you by these impressions. Only on this board i can feel home and people have patience with me. Even my parents don t know anything about me. So thanks for not playing judge all the time... Quote
Members phkrause Posted October 25, 2008 Members Posted October 25, 2008 TS I would never dream of being Judge. Besides God tells us never to judge someones final destination. Woody Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 TruthSeeker ... I love your new avatar. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Guest truthseeker007 Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 thanks Red, i like it too very much. I truly hope that God is love, not because human beings feel forced to say it, but because it is true. Throughout the centuries people have represented God in their personal ways to threaten believers with hellfire etc. Nowadays people use Jesus to make some serious money or because they believe he can give people a better career. I think no person on earth has ever gave an accurate description of the character of God. It is this character that makes me decide whether i am pro- or against God. I think the character of God can be expressed in our love towards each other and for looking at all the things God has done for us. It is more like a feeling than a factual description. I choose God because i think his character is like the one illustrated on my avater. Peace, love, harmony, compassion, pureness etc., i believe are integrated in his character... Quote

Lauralea Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Truthseeker I want to say I am sorry for the very sad things you have experienced, and I do not have the answers, except that when people I love have let me down, or in some cases they have passed away, I could sense the comfort of God when all the other hopes and things I counted on were not there any more, when I rested in His love because I was helpless. When I did not sense his presence, like when I had cancer a long time ago at 28 and the chemo made me not think clearly, I thought of it like spiritual radar- the mountains are still there when the plane is landing, even though you need radar to "see" them. No human being has always had perfect love all the time. Only God does. God bless you, Lauralea Quote Behold what manner of love the Father hath given unto us.
Guest truthseeker007 Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Thanks LAura. I hope you have recovered from your cancer. I know i am not supposed to think this, but i am so sad i wish i got cancer so i could die. I cannot explain exactly how bad i am feeling. But thanks for your help though... Quote
Lauralea Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 yes truthseeker, I have recovered. Please don't want cancer. I know you are very sad now, but I don't know bow sad-it's true. I have never had the same thing happen to me, but for the saddest things, what helped me was accepting that what I wanted so badly was not to be and moving on, finding something else to do or to care about. It is very hard, I know, but when I relax in God and depend on Him, like when my fiance died last fall, it really has helped me. God bless you dear one. I see by your logo that you have some hope that there is a loving God. I will pray for you. Perhaps this is not relevant, but if there is a kind and supportive minister to talk to, or maybe a chaplain or Christian counselor, it may help some. I am not often on the site, but you can PM me if you would like a reply to smething. God bless you, Lauralea Quote Behold what manner of love the Father hath given unto us.
Guest truthseeker007 Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 THanks LAura that s very kind of you. I am happy for you about your recovery. Once i was in church, somebody got healed also by prayers. The hospital couldn t explain it. I don t know why there is so much pain inside my soul. It just seems like this world wasn t build for me. I feel sooooooo sad... Quote
Guest truthseeker007 Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 I had a presentation today, it was awfull. I asked God to help, but all i could do was mumbling. It was worse than the speeches of your president. I experience every time that i clean up my life, people start to hate me and something is troubling my mind. I thought about suicide today. I have passed the being angry station. Nowadays i only feel total sadness. It s like my soul is so wounded, it hurts so bad that i want to end it. Anyway think for all of your supports. I ll hang on, i can not make my mom cry... Quote
Woody Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Sorry for your bad day 007. But glad that you are past the angry stage. Now ... we just need to perk you up. What about a nice long run to get the blood flowin? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Guest truthseeker007 Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 i don t feel like running. I feel like, escaping existence. I don t give up. I can not sink much deeper. I feel soooooooo bad. But it s ok though. I probably deserve it anyway. Quote
Woody Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Might be a good idea to do something for your good but something that you don't 'feel' like doin. It's called discipline. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.

Guest truthseeker007 Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Yeah Discipline is a nice thing when you need it. I exercise often, i think my body doesn t need more discipline. Maybe i need spiritual discipline but God never answers me. How can i know he appreciates the things i do. How do i even know he exists? My mind cannot comprehend the idea of an everlasting all powerfull, all knowing God. Am i so small or is he so great? Quote
Taylor Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Might be a good idea to do something for your good but something that you don't 'feel' like doin. It's called discipline. I agree Redwood. Getting out and running or walking in nature really helps heal the soul. Also doing something for someone who can never pay you back, such as a random act of kindness for a senior citizen or something does a lot to infuse life into a depressed existence. We are praying for you truthseeker that you would find peace! Quote
Guest truthseeker007 Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Running on the streets is a nice thing, but i am too shy to even walk on the streets. When i am outside, it feels like everybody is watching at me, their looks are like knifes through my soul because i know they probably hate me. I try to understand why, everytime i clean up my life, people start to hate me and i feel sad. On the other hand, when i turn away from religion, it s like i am one of them and they don t hate me anymore. For instance, i ve just quitted the sex addiction stuff, i didn t feel any physical or spiritual hunger for sex anymore. The next day somebody at training starts to talk about hard sex with a particular girl etc. I don t know whether these things are coincidences or that satan somehow has access to the minds of other people. I can remember from my occult period, i had those powers which with i could telephatically communicate within my soul, they wanted to attack others, even my parents. They don t like it when somebody is not fallen yet. Quote
