And on that list of Forum people that I watch I would put Neill, Shane, John316, Nan, Aldona, Amelia, Darlene, Denise, Gerry, Norman, Taylor, Lyndel -- and I am sure there are more than that! Oh, and Stan the Man!

I am sure there are more! You are all a great mob!

Beryl

Well, I have to say that I don't make these types of lists....Cuz you'all are NAUGHTY....and I like the naughty ones!!! [They remind me of me!!!] Well, Most of you....and the ones who are not naughty, are well worth the read....and what can you say against "nice"????

Um, regarding the comment "you are all a great mob!"....um, I suppose that it's that English/American/Ozzie language barrior...more likely it is me, but to me, a mob is more likely out to do some sort of mischief, in the order of hanging someone...he says wistfully....

Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve.

Neil, in this case "mob" means a "group". ie A mob of roos. It is a Collective Noun. Liken it to a swarm of bees.

There is a famous book here called "They're a Weird Mob", purportedly written by a new Italian

immigrant to Australia in the 1950's, about his adaptation to the lifestyle here. (Actually the author had

an Irish name). Neil really should read it, and another book called Aussie English written by the same man

(John O'Grady) under his real name. Then he would not have to feel insulted when he is really being complimented!

I think Uncle Neil would prefer to be insulted. Compliments makes him feel all uncomfortable and such.

For which ones? Insults or compliments?

I knew that is how you would reply, except I don't speak Korean.

Well I like all of you! I don't always agree with Bravus but he is so gracious that even if you vehemitely disagree with him you can't ever wish to hit him with the frying pan..cuz he is just too nice, lol. I have appreciated Shane's talk about politics also even if I don't always agree with him. Redwood has a soft spot for people who are having a rough time and I appreciate that. John always has ample evidence to back up his posts which can be very nice if you are wanting to really delve into the subject. Stan doesn't post as often as he should cuz when he does post he has great things to say. Though I have never met Nan or Beryl I really do appreciate their wisdome and love for the Lord. Neil can be very funny, which lightens up our day. Liz and Amelia are fun people to have here...etc etc...I know I have left many of you out..and I am sorry but if I don't go to bed shortly I am going to fall asleep at the computer. :) I like you all!.

I appreciate a lot of people on this forum. I think Stan is a model of patience and practices the art of giving people the benefit of the doubt. I have learned a lot from him. Bravus is so much smarter than me I often feel as I don't have a right to disagree with him - so I try to do that as respectfully as possible. John317 has one of the most refined theological minds I know. David Koots too but I haven't seen him post for a while - marriage life must be treating him well. Both Robert and Neil give me things to consider and challenge my beliefs which is always something I welcome. Amelia feeds the board with all kinds of interesting posts which keeps us all here talking. Taylor is such an inspiring Adventist I am so glad the church, and this forum, has members like. Olger has a down-to-earthness to him and a deep care for others that I really appreciate. This is a great place to be a part of. I just wish we had more active members here.
