John McGhee would worship with the Muslims at their Friday prayers. Of course he has the advantage that

he can speak fluent Urdu/Hindi and can communicate with people from those countries.

I knew him and his wife in Pakistan in the 70's and have some ongoing contact with them, a dedicated couple.

I think they have essentially retired now to the West Coast, but will probably remain active in some way or other.
