organED Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Hi organED, I believe that Warren played in the Cardinals minor league system, and he was a shortstop if I'm not mistaken. I worked with his brother Elliot at FFT when they were in NY. Also his brother Ron married me and my wife when he was living in NY. pk I remember him telling me that, though he said he did also do some pitching. I know that at our intramurals he was the pitcher for his team (the faculty/staff team) and he was quite good enough to blow away a bunch of young college kids. LOL He was a very nice man, too. A wonderful Dean of Men at Calkins Hall, a good mentor/advisor/ and role model who always had an open door. pkrause, feel free to just call me Ed. I go be organED due to the fact that I am an organist. Did you attend La Sierra during the years of 1979-1983. I was a student there during those years, then I did graduate studies until 1985, living in Sierra Vista House where grad students lived. Then I was hired on staff fulltime as the Assistand Director/Lieutenant of Security/Safety from 1986 to 1989. The current director was actually hired by me when I served as interim Director between chiefs who came and went with impunity - until the current one who is one of the nicest and most christian gentleman one could meet. Never could get the top position due to the usual politics of Adventist beauracrats, but that is another story. I am a school teacher now, which is what I went to college for anyway. Quote
