Moderators Bravus Posted March 14, 2009 Moderators Posted March 14, 2009 Haven't seen the Spyder in the flesh (metal?) yet, but lots of pictures and reviews, and they sound very interesting indeed. Have seen a few Piaggio MP3 three-wheeled scooters around here: They're an engineering marvel, and if I lost a leg or the use of a leg I'd have one in a flash, because they can stand up by themselves when they're stationary, but I'm not sure I see the point of them for an able-bodied rider... although they're also very sure-footed and secure, even in the wet or on poor road surfaces. But my beautiful wife, over the last few years, made a point of stressing to all our friends and family (particularly family) "Don't let him get another bike." So I don't dare - yet.
