Stan Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 (add your own) Quote: Hi all,Well, my house is being taken over by rats. Really big rats. Smart too. We've set a few live traps, but they keep escaping them while making off with whatever goody that we've used to lure them. I hate to kill them, they're almost like part of the family... well not really, but they are pretty cute, in a ratty sort of way. So what I need is a large, rat eating sort of feline to borrow for about a week. Now I don't want to keep the cat, so no underhanded hey you can use my cat, and then I never see you again sort of [censored]... a week should be all I need. If you have one I can borrow, please email me... thanks! Members phkrause Posted March 27, 2009 Members Posted March 27, 2009 When we first moved to the USA back in 1951, we lived in Manhattan, in a Jewish neighborhood. The apartment building had rats that even the cats were afraid of. hahahaha hehehehehe hohohohoho pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Members phkrause Posted March 27, 2009 Members Posted March 27, 2009 My mom wound up chasing one with a broom to the door, that she had opened to let the rat out. But as she shut the door, she caught the rats head in the door and said she push till it died. Pretty gross if you ask me. pk Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2

Moderators Nan Posted March 27, 2009 Moderators Posted March 27, 2009 All you anti-rat people should move to Kuching, in Sarawak, Malaysia...it is the City of Cats. Lots of statues of cats round the city, I can remember seeing some cats - including an obviously pregnant one that kept following me, miaowing, and I had to tell her very sternly that I was on holiday and my professional services were not available LOL. I do not remember seeing any rats there. Quote
Stan Posted March 27, 2009 Author Posted March 27, 2009 Alberta is a Rat-Free province... not sure how they did that, sometimes when a rat sneaks in, often on farm equipment, the Rat Patrol is flown in to take care of the situation. Woody Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I think redwood is pulling a few legs here. pk This is a true story. I did use the wrong word. You are right ... one can not 'flick' a rat.
