BobRyan Posted January 24, 2010 Author Posted January 24, 2010 You mean, absent a host, a virus is without life - by any definition? What about aerosolized viruses? Hospital? your statement? forbear! Better to stick with eukaryote systems with their homolagous chromosome requirement for expressing traits in phenotype. (Remember that it is only expressed phenotype traits that can be "selected for" in the natural selection paradigm). Thus the appeal to non-eukaryote systems like virus and bacteria -- is a helpful story for evolution - but eventually you the "birds came from reptile" storie gotta be shown to work with actual single-celled animals like an aomeba. Because if the story does not work with eukaryote animals - it is dead in the water. in Christ, Bob Quote John 8:32 - The Truth will make you free“The righteousness of Christ will not cover one cherished sin." jasd Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 >>Viruses are without metabolism nor can they self-replicate. They are one-shot chemically triggered nucleic acid injectors. They can only hijack the cellular processes of living cells and get them to make more one-shot nucleic acid injectors.<< Good post, in large part;it addresses a point and is informative. However, it leads to the greater question – can a virus, disseminated as panspermia, influence evolutionary processes – without an already existing host to, as you’ve postulated, “inject”? Quote

BobRyan Posted January 25, 2010 Author Posted January 25, 2010 "virus worls" is the result of the many arguments evolutionists make based on prions and RNA virus behavior -- in all those viral activities - they never get to full DNA eukaryote cells as "something that came from a virus". So all their stories about what a virus or even a bacteria "can do" goes nowhere. in Christ, Bob Quote John 8:32 - The Truth will make you free“The righteousness of Christ will not cover one cherished sin." I think I am pretty close to the truth in saying that both the evolutionist and the creationist concur that – energy would have been central to either process. Perhaps it is that you’ve an incomplete understanding of the definition of science, yes? For example - the claim that evolutionists are engaged in actual science - is debunked by atheist evolutionists themselves who lament the fact that "stories about how one thing came from another" that are "based on the fossil record" are simply "stories easy enough to make up - but they ARE NOT science because there is no way of putting them to the test". Now here you have a frank statement from evolutionists themselves about their own "NOT SCIENCE" practices. Are we to be sooo blind ourselves to their work that we cannot even see the point when they themselves are lamenting the problem?
