And yet, I think the original intent of the site is almost immaterial. We come here to handle "sacred vessels", sacred truths, and this site provides a means of doing that.

In that sense the site is performing the role of a ministry. We are a fellowship of professed believers, aren't we? A professedly Christian community?

It is true that we do not have ordained ministers over us [and if we did then it would be a very different place, and individually we would not have so much opportunity to grow] but to maintain order and discipline the moderators exist.
