jasd Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 >>Come on, was not Jesus the one who was born of the Woman (Holy Spirit)?<< I tend to agree with the idea that the HS bears the feminine aspect; however, I believe that when Writ states that Jesus Christ was born of a woman – it means for us to receive that, indeed, it was literally a woman – in this instance, the virgin Mary. >>Here is the thing: When I start a bible study with someone new, I always start out with Revelation 12 because this verse is a picture of the whole history of this world, from the beginning to the end.<< I find it difficult to reconcile the HS as clothed with the “sun” and standing on the “moon”. I’ve posted that I believe the text employed metaphors with the stars representing the COI, the moon representing their mother, and the sun representing their father, in other words – the entirety of the COI, as it were – per Joseph’s dream as set forth in Genesis 37. Heaven, in keeping with the metaphoric representation may represent the ‘high places’ of power and influence vis-à-vis the other nations upon earth. >>The Woman is in heaven, therefore She can't be Mary or the Church, but has to be the Holy Spirit.<< For what it’s worth: Catholics use Psalms 45 as depicting St Mary – the Queen of Heaven. >>Since Michael became Jesus Christ,<< Lacking the transitioning text whereby we are informed that the Archangel Michael became Jesus Christ, we’re left with the following... Heb 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? The answer is – none of the angels – Archangel, or otherwise. >>He also said those found in Revelation 12:17 are the brothers and sisters of Jesus since they have become born of the same Mother as Jesus was per John the Baptist's testimony.<< [ed.jasd[ I am unable to appreciate the point underlined in the above. Please walk me through it. Quote
