I tend to agree with the idea that the HS bears the feminine aspect; however, I believe that when Writ states that Jesus Christ was born of a woman – it means for us to receive that, indeed, it was literally a woman – in this instance, the virgin Mary.

I find it difficult to reconcile the HS as clothed with the “sun” and standing on the “moon”. I’ve posted that I believe the text employed metaphors with the stars representing the COI, the moon representing their mother, and the sun representing their father, in other words – the entirety of the COI, as it were – per Joseph’s dream as set forth in Genesis 37. Heaven, in keeping with the metaphoric representation may represent the ‘high places’ of power and influence vis-à-vis the other nations upon earth.

For what it’s worth: Catholics use Psalms 45 as depicting St Mary – the Queen of Heaven.

The answer is – none of the angels – Archangel, or otherwise.
