Yes I think you did. I am still waiting for those that are in the fore front demanding proof of the accusations they have leveled. Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. My gay son feels pretty much the same way. He hates it when people lump all gays together and think they are all like that. He is nothing like them. He just wants to live his own life as he feels is appropriate for him, and leave everyone else the freedom to do the same. Quote Catherine God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Dr. Shane Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 It's so amazing that the de facto leader of the conservative movement in America pays a gay "married" man $1 million + to play at his wedding. His fourth wedding. He marries a woman who is 26 years his junior! You can't make this stuff up. I see some assumptions coming to light here. First. There is the assumption that conservatives don't like gays. Why this preconceived notion? Because they oppose gay marriage? Well, most of them favor civil unions - including Rush. I guess by hiring Elton John, Rush has shown that conservatives (at least himself) take no issues with gays. Second: This is the assumption that all conservatives are part of the Religious Right. Why else would someone be surprised that a conservative gets married for the fourth time to someone 26 years his junior? Quote Pastoral Family Counselor...
