Members abelisle Posted July 25, 2010 Members Posted July 25, 2010 I realize that this is probably a joke but I studied with the Jesuits in 1983 at Fordham University under a NEH (Nat'l Endowment for the Humanities) Fellowship in Medieval Scholastic Philosophy under the tutelage of Prof. Ewert Cousins (you can google him - now deceased) Wonderful people - smart - friendly - interested in the writings of EGW - and very liberal. Alex (guess that makes me an honorary Jesuit? Quote We are our worst enemy - sad but true. http://abelisle.blogspot.com

aldona Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Quote: ...because we have not come to order yet.. As the honorary Quaker observer of this Jesuit forum, I would like to make an observation. The job of the person who chairs a Quaker meeting has been compared to herding cats. I see that Jesuits are just as reluctant as cats and Quakers to be herded. Maybe you should nominate a committee who would then nominate people for a Nominating Committee. (Now where have I heard that procedure before? Surely it must have been introduced by the Jesuits.) Neil-Aye [Of course, I am here ] After watching a recent presentation by Walter Veigh, I'm finding it difficult to feel comfortable being seen as a Jesuit. It will be interesting to see how others respond to being included in the list. Regards! Quote Lift Jesus up!!
SivartM Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Neil, the alliances of this forum were to remain secret! Did I not make that clear at the last meeting? Now that the Quakers know who we are, we will have to change our identities and the name and address of this forum.
