Roundup works pretty good. You have to get the weeds out, than spread the stuff. But if you read the label its good for about 3 or 4 months, than the weeds come back. If you don't spray it correctly they will return. We use it all the time its good but like all this kind of stuff its not the end all that it claims but like I said it does work. We buy it a BJ's. It's around $40. for, I believe, a 5 gallon jug.

I use Roundup on my driveway. And it kills about half of the weeds I soak. But the cost is just getting to be too much with the results I get.

I believe weeds have just as much right to grow in our gardens as the flowers and vegetables we plant. No, we didn't invite them, but still, we should not genetically profile them or discriminate against them, a violation of their plant rights. We have more than enough water and space to spare, so we should treat them as guests instead of trying to remove them, or worse, barbarically decapitate them or poison them and their offspring.

We should start a Save the Weeds Foundation and give all of them amnesty and free garden space, water, fertilizer, and nursery care. Just because they're different and aren't useful to us doesn't mean we have to grumble that we're supporting them with our resources or complain that they're taking over our gardens...

The least we can do is to allow them to face a deportation hearing once they are caught. But to racially profile them would be contrary to our beliefs.

And they *are* green, and give off oxygen. Very healthy to have around.

Some of them are edible too. That could save you money, because greens are expensive to buy, and seldom of the best quality.

I have some foreign weeds in my yard...Canadian thistles. Spiny, stickery things they are, but have the prettiest blooms!

Yep. Those Canadian foreigners can be a real pain. You need to get to the roots to really take care of them. I've found them to be very stickery .... but from my experience ... they lack much spine.
