PaulG Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Forgive me but you people are about as interested in facing God's truth or edifying in His name as the devil is? So as God is our witness, I've shaken off the dust of you and have prayed that "you" might eventually come to your senses and stop wasting time in forums judging each other and pretending to be obedient followers? C'mon folks, do you really think that God is so stupid he doesn't notice believers are just using the Internet as an excuse to 'avoid' Having To Physically Go Into All The World and do what Jesus commands? Most believers aren’t joining forums to serve God or experience fellowship in Christ but rather they just want to start arguments and insult everyone who doesn’t agree with their limited understanding of “God” or even worse and perhaps more likely; they were tempted into a forum by the devil to distract them From God? i.e. The devil using the Internet as a deception enticing idle lazy disobedient believers to cower behind Alias usernames in Forums spewing biblical quotes from almost complete ignorance. Instead of declaring their Real names and going into the Real world and serving God. And the devil is probably at least that powerful to pull it off? And it seems to be working because Satan doesn't want Christians going out “in Person” into the real world and spreading the gospel and edifying and healing and baptizing and the Internet provides the ideal delusion to excuse believers from talking with real people In Person, knocking on people's doors In Person and laying hands on people In Person etc.? So the devil is quite happy to trap naïve believers in cyberspace and away from the Real World so they can't Do Those Things in service to God “In Person”? As long as people are distracted on the Internet arguing and bible-bashing each other, the devil doesn't have to lift a finger to prevent "those believers" from obeying Mark 16:15-18 because they are all neatly trapped in a fake world called the “Internet” and they may never learn how to truly walk in Christ? Their faith is so weak that they couldn't preach anything to anyone In Person even if they wanted to and they probably never even spoke one prayer to God asking him to bless them with the power to go out and interact with people Face-to-Face and do what is commanded of them and in the end, that neglect could very well cost them their souls? Too scary for you to believe that might be what's happening? Are you offended that your little forum is now exposed for what it is and that You might actually have to re-think some things about your obedience to Christ and biblical interpretation? Shocked that You might need some spiritual correcting? Gosh I hope you're shocked or at least concerned because that might mean you actually Do Care To Know if you're believing and doing the right thing in Jesus' name and that you do want to Listen and Learn and grow in Christ like the rest of us foolish wretches? And maybe you will now pray for God to show you what your true good works might be and bless you to properly serve his will, not Yours? Instead of anonymously prancing around in a forum trying to impress anyone with your biblical knowledge because you're afraid To Face the real world in His name? And like believers who segregate themselves by denomination feigning for example that Adventists might somehow be better Christians than Protestants or Catholics might somehow be better Christians than Anglicans or Baptists might somehow be better Christians than Anglicans etc. etc. etc. And no; I won't be checking back with this forum to read any of your angry hypocritical self-righteous responses feigning to be indignant. Don't fret though because the moderators will have removed this an me from your forum to keep "you" from facing God's truth and Yourselves. Regardless, you had "your" chance and plenty of time to welcome brethren with love and patience but chose to ignore and hate instead. So it's between "you" and God now, where it should be (Hebrews 5:11-14). Blessings, Paul Quote I'm not Adventist. I'm His.
SivartM Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Er. Thank you for your thoughts. I agree that some people only seem to come here to argue and call names and avoid real life. But without this place I would not have made a lot of good friends and I would not have learned a lot of what I know now. So, I'm sorry that you think we're all evil satan-worshipers (are you trying to be any kinder than the people you're talking about?), but since it seems that you just came here to rebuke us and not actually talk to us and try to make friends, I don't think you are qualified to judge anyone here. I'm guessing, however, that you will come back just to read comments and feel good about yourself because you're not hypocritical like us. Good luck with that. Dr. Shane Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 This place is probably responsible for me not leaving the church or falling away from the faith. But I don't believe anyone has come to this forum to witness because they don't want to go out into the world. Each one of us lives, works and meets people in the world every day, and at least for me that's a form of witnessing. God/Jesus didn't say all should be ministers, pastors, etc. I do agree that many just argue for arguments sake. And they are probably not very good witnesses, but than who are we to judge who is a good witness or not. In my opinion that's exactly what you are doing. Never have been obedient ... never WILL be till I reach the shores. I've proclaimed my sinfulness many times here on this forum ... perhaps you were ignoring me because you thought I was TOO sinful. Forgive me if I'm wrong ... but do you sign your legal papers under the name PaulG or could there actually be more to it than what you are disclosing. Possibly an alias going on here? Quote: "Are you offended that your little forum is now exposed for what it is ?" Not in the least. I think we can proudly proclaim that we are not meant for you. Wish we were. jasd Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Sheesh, wha’happened!—some other kid ran off with your bag of nauthin’s? So!—you’re my conciliare? Gd help me!—I would wish for a bit more agreeableness; like, y’know, equanimity... I’ve never before – seen such haranguing sound and fury on this forum – seemingly serving to huff and to puff – attempting to blow the pigum’s brick house down! Agida, my friend – best cured with a quaffable libation and a mellow companion in black silk – or red, or lavender-blue, or all pastel-like, or even – umm, buff Let’s back-up and approach the matter with larnin’ on our minds. I’m certain that Gd can manage without us for a bit... whilst we do as did the Bereans. That all said, suggestion: stick around and mebbe together we can row this forum ashore, as it were. Quote
Overaged Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 The OP has a right to speak his feelings. He did nothing wrong. We all get a little off-track sometimes. Maybe his OP was a good reminder, and incentive to do better. Never mind that "quaffable stuff" Cause then when we "back up" like you told us to, you might be "going forward." Anyways, thanks for the suggestion. Hope you will find a place here that you enjoy. I know I don't enjoy all forums or members, but it's good to try and treat all as we would like to be treated. Moderators John317 Posted October 27, 2010 Moderators Posted October 27, 2010 ... Blessings, Paul You're right about some things and wrong about others. It's too bad you evidently don't want to talk about it or hear what people have to say. One thing you're wrong about is that the moderators will have removed your post. You have a right to post such a message, and like I say, you do have some legitimate points. But you also judge people without knowing anything about them, which is the wrong thing to do. You're right that it's between people and God, which is where it should be. Come on back and spend some time getting to know people and showing them your love. That is the only way that others can show you their love. Quote John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

I’ve been the recipient of ‘strong invectives’ – yet harbor no ill-feelings and rather enjoy everyone. Why do you find that difficult? I don’t dress in silks and have no need for either the slow or the smooth hand. Am looking for the raw in Writ. Overaged Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 I guess that the way I look at it is that this "pattern" means something and there is no reason to not be patient and caring towards the OP.
