I think those involved probably have a different idea of permanent peace.When you are dead it is peaceful and permanent in this life..... The uncertainty is good, however, becasue it make the US and Israel take a fresh look at things. I hope you're right about the army. But the uncertainty will be over soon, and the world will have to deal with what has occurred. Quote

They are driven by a hate that renders even the most basic economic decisions useless.Lebanon, once the crown jewel of the Mediterranean, is now a nearly destitute wasteland. Sure they are probably some Jews that do feel insecure, but so do many Americans. Not sure if they think exactly like Americans, but I do know the reason we are friends with them is because they have a democracy. Israel has nothing we need, want, etc. In there Knesset they have many palestinians. Besides if the USA didn't hold them back all the time I think they would probably have the whole middle east to themselves by now.
