Woody Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Excellent thoughts Gail. I go a step further. I pray for God to remove my sins each day. Of course He doesn't and like you say ... I need to stop looking at ME. I need to just accept me for who I am and who God is working on and with. But who God is not finished with yet. And the yet won't come till I see His Face. So, when I start blaming myself for having sin ... I have to realize it is not MY fault. It is HIS. Not that He has fault. But it is on His time schedule and not mine. He thinks I'm okay so I should. God doesn't make trash. And ALL power to overcome sin is from God. I can't do it on my own power. So when I pray for the power to overcome sin and it doesn't arrive ... my hands are washed clean. teresaq Posted February 15, 2011 Author Posted February 15, 2011 While off-topic, Hmmm, maybe the problem is we don't have much patience. For myself there are usually are other issues that have to be resolved before "the sin" can be dealt with. Kind of like the sin I see is the least of my problems, but I'm only aware of that sin, not the others that lead to it. Quote facebook. /teresa.quintero.790
