Dr. Rich Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Pk, both JFK and Bill Cohen were dead wrong! It is the job of the government to serve the people. Problem is, they let the litte puppy grow until no one wants to go near it because of it's growl and teeth. The people no have no other choice but to 'put it to sleep'. Beck and Rush make their money by saying words that cause conflict. Both are fun to listen to, but since we are now in the final days of this earth, neither one of them will matter. Quote

Dr. Shane Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Beck is an opportunist. He made a big deal out of Megan McCain because he posted the video on his website "The Blaze" which competes with the Drudge Report. The whole incident was about getting hits on The Blaze. I am sure he got a lot of hits and is laughing all the way to the bank. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity

Dr. Shane Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 If Rush or Beck said some of the things our president has said the hate speech charge might be true. Of course we are not talking about our President. Let's not try to justify one wrong with another wrong. Two wrongs don't make a right. Beck was wrong. He is an opportunist. He attacks people so that he can drive up ratings and laugh all the way to the bank. Regardless his position on any issue, that type of behavior is despicable. Then he laughs it off and tries to make light of it. I doubt he will be laughing come judgement day. I hope he repents before then. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... "Our" president is very much a part of the discussion on hate speech. He has brought it up more than once and at the same time launched into a attack on any that disagree with him.The behaviour of the president is despicable. If you have a problem with Beck, you certainly must have a problem with the leader of this country For me I think I will let God judge the heart of Beck.I think it very possible he is sincere in what he believes.Much is not to far off from what SDA's believe. I suppose it is possible God has placed you in a position to know Beck probably hopes you repent of your sins before judgement day as well Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. Dr. Shane Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 "Our" president is very much a part of the discussion on hate speech... I don't think Beck acted out of hate for Megan McCain. What he did was make fun of her so that he could put some money in the bank. Little kids make fun of other kids on the play ground so they can get a laugh at other kid's expense. Beck is a big boy and does it for money. It is despicable and he should be ashamed of himself. He should take all the revenue earned by The Blaze that day and donate it to Megan McCain's favorite charity. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted May 24, 2011 Administrators Posted May 24, 2011 Bonnie, if you are so eager to withhold judgment and let God judge Beck, why are you so eager to take God's job away from Him when it comes to judging Obama? Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." "Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." "I love God only as much as the person I love the least." *Forgiveness is always good news. bonnie Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Bonnie, if you are so eager to withhold judgment and let God judge Beck, why are you so eager to take God's job away from Him when it comes to judging Obama? It is my right and my business to judge the job I believe Obama is doing. I have made no reference to his salvation, hoping he is ready for judgement day or anything remotely like it. Elections are about judgement of a job politicians are doing.I think he is a dismal failure. For his rather pathetic calls for civility from this president it appears he is totally ignorant of what that means. Dr. Shane Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Well he took on the credit card companies. That was great!!! No doubt, he is the man! He managed to put the brakes on doctors' hospitals too. That is a victory for all (except those greedy doctors) [Not all doctors - just the greedy ones that were in on the doctors' hospital shams] That was great too. Once gain showing that he is the man. He killed Osama Bin Laden. That took guts and courage. Obama is no coward. Now he is setting Israel in their place. That is very gutsy but I think something that is long overdue. He could lose re-election because of that but once again,,, he is showing us that... he is the man. I disagree with Obama completely on his energy policy and his run-away spending but certainly there are good things he is doing. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... I absolutely agree Shane, there are things hes done a good job with and some that he has not. As far as Israel I disagree with putting them in there place. Israel has put up with enough from there neighbors. They have given in to more demands than any other country over there, with no compension from any of there neighbors. And as far as going back to pre '67 borders, that's shear suicide and that goes against the 6th commandment. Or they could go back way before '67, like the time of Christ, I think that Israel might consent to that with no problem.
