You certainly wouldn't say that the reason they weren't healed is because they gave themselves over to Satan. God frequently chooses not to heal mental illness as well. I was responding to your implication that everyone who commits suicide has been given over to the hand of Satan. As you say, it can be mental illness and just because God doesn't heal that mental illness does not necessarily mean the person is lost anymore than Him not healing the person with cancer.
