Gibs Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 This is to understand the Jubilee calendar. It is really easy to see this is a very accurate way to know the time of man’s habitation of the earth. The book Jubilees reveals, chapter 4 verse 29, 30 that Adam lived through into the last year of the 19’th Jubilee cycle. That he was 930 years old and we know he was a few months into another year. 19 X49 = 931 and that is when Adam died, in his 931’st year. Then of course BC 3054 was a Jubilee because we find we can go back no further in time than the year BC 3985. 19 Jubilee cycles is exactly 931 yrs. and the first yr. of the next cycle is always a Jubilee. The Jubilee year is the 50’th and always falls the 1’st year of the next recurring cycle of sevens. So actually each Jubilee year then falls 49 years after the last one, it becomes the 50’th only by falling each time the 1’st year of the next cycle and this some have trouble comprehending. It is a recurring cycle of 7 years and our daily calendar is a recurring cycle of days that can not be broken, two great clocks set by God from all eternity past into all eternity future, this Enoch reveals. Now if we would just go back one Jubilee cycle in time past BC 3985 which we know was the year of Adam and Eve on earth we would now have the habitation of man here more than 6,000 years already. Let us now go 81 Jubilees, 81x49=3969 down from BC 3985 and that brings us to BC 16. 3985 - 3969 = 16. Now down 16 more and that ends the BC period and so starting with one again we count up through AD 33 and so the 16 yrs and the 33 yrs. Gives us 49. So now we have a total of 82 Jubilees, 82 Jubilees through AD 33. AD 34 of course then is a Jubilee yr. proven to be as was a new beginning for the Gentiles as this is the year the Gospel dispensation went to them and was ended for the Jews. A Jubilee year is always a new beginning as for nothing else the land was to go back to the original family owner. AD 34 to AD 1994 is 1960 years and exactly 40 Jubilees. The 82 Jubilees to AD 34 and the 40 to 1994 our last Jubilee year makes us 122 Jubilees to 1994 which is 5,978 yrs. 122 x 49 = 5,978 yrs. We only need 22 years added to 5,978 to make 6,000. Now add that to our last Jubilee, 1994 and we get 2016. This cannot miss only + or minus a year at the most. Also the time is to be shortened for the elect’s sake. So you see if we started time any earlier we would have had 6,000 years quite a few years ago, 1967 to be exact and it would have been all over by now. Time is short by many ways we can see by all that is around us and I’ve seen nothing in any of Enoch’s writings and others that say it will end precisely at 6,000 yrs. But that is the time set from the beginning and it just may be precisely. Also we know the Jubilee calendar is properly timed as it falls in sync will all known Jubilee years. BC 1437 the exodus, BC 457 the decree to rebuild and restore Jerusalem and more like when the flood ended it was a Jubilee year, the year after Adam died a Jubilee year, the year after the 70 weeks of years allotted to the Jews, AD 34 and more. A Jubilee can be found in the Bible, Isaiah 37:30 and 2 Kings 19:29 and you see will 2 years in a row the land was not tilled and that only happens at a land Sabbath and the next year a Jubilee which is also a Sabbath for the land and the year was mid term of King Hezekiah and was BC 702 and this is the only reckoning that will catch that Jubilee chronicled there. Something to think about as this is actually what the year for a day prophecies is based on. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. I'd be interested. ps: if you google it you'll see on amazon.com they have a few different ones. phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Gibs Posted November 13, 2011 Author Posted November 13, 2011 Who are the author and publisher of "the book Jubilees?" Dottie, It is named "The Little Genesis" or "The Apocalypse Of Moses" It is said to be from Mosses. The Jubilees are not anything men have ever wanted to follow and were abandoned and brought back to rememberance after the exodus. Some of these books add a lot of understanding and this one is very good. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Gibs Posted November 16, 2011 Author Posted November 16, 2011 Just a note that many may not take the 6,000 years serious but EGW saw that is what it would be, "Satan's work of ruin is forever ended. For six thousand years he has wrought his will, filling the earth with woe and causing grief throughout the universe. The whole creation has groaned and travailed together in pain. Now God's creatures are forever delivered from his presence and temptations". {DD 60.1} If you will do the math with me on what I posted you can see without doubt the 6,000 yrs. are about to end and very, very shortly. We are to know these things revealed and this cannot be refuted to my knowledge. Any way it is a sure wake up call to the shortness of time. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. ClubV12 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Sister White made it clear she placed no relevance on the exact age of the earth and spoke of it in only general terms. What event are you proposing a set time for with your Jubilee calendar calculations Gib's?
Moderators John317 Posted November 17, 2011 Moderators Posted November 17, 2011 The problem with it is that it depends on the concept that God is waiting on a certain time in order for Christ to come. I think that's wrong: I believe God is waiting for a certain condition in His people. Christ will come when His people are ready. Otherwise Christ will wait. Christ could have come any time after 1844 if His people had been prepared. I believe every generation of SDAs has had the opportunity to be the last generation. But sadly there's been rebellion in the camp-- rebellion against God and against His prophet-- just as there was in ancient Israel while on the borders of the Promised Land. John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
Gibs Posted November 17, 2011 Author Posted November 17, 2011 ClubV12, What I had posted just above your comment is what she stated and that time will be close. The end of that time will be the end of the reign of sin as she stated, Satan's ruin is ended. I often wonder what she would have said if she knew of this Jubilee calendar being in effect from all eternity past and will be into all eternity future. No it is not a thing to dwell on but for a realization. My reason for this is to wake up the sleeping ones the time is about up. There is an appointed time Jesus said that the Father only knows but we are to know what He has given us in His prophecy and can see from what has come upon the world and in the church that an alarm is needed. Where are the watchmen on the wall? The following verses I do believe apply today probably more than any time on earth. Isa 56:10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Isa 56:11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. No I am not a time setter for the end, none can know that, I just know time is about run out. It is urgent as it has ever been for all to get their spiritual houses in order. I'm not sure but what the following isn't the case already in a lot of circles as was here, . "The more frequently a definite time is set for the second advent, and the more widely it is taught, the better it suits the purposes of Satan. After the time has passed, he excites ridicule and contempt of its advocates, and thus casts reproach upon the great Advent movement of 1843 and 1844. Those who persist in this error will at last fix upon a date too far in the future for the coming of Christ. Thus they will be led to rest in a false security, and many will not be undeceived until it is too late". It sure hurt the Adventist movement even though it was from Miller. You know though, didn't about all the prophets of old think He would come again in their day, Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; EGW does say this and then I close for this time, It was at midnight that God chose to deliver His people. As the wicked were mocking around them, suddenly the sun appeared, shining in his strength, and the moon stood still. The wicked looked upon the scene with amazement, while the saints beheld with solemn joy the tokens of their deliverance. Signs and wonders followed in quick succession. Everything seemed turned out of its natural course 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. ClubV12 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 There are many good ways to show and illustrate that time is short, very short. It's certainly something we need to keep before the people, lest they fall into the "third watch" trap and be found sleeping. Using an out of context Desire of Ages quote along with calculations from the Jubilee calender is not a good way to do this. This will be a path of error for some that will lead them to "set a date". Perhaps, that is exactly how you actually see it right now? I am left with the distinct feeling you think some signifcant event will take place on the very day your Jubilee calender "strikes midnight" of 6,000 years. Your last quote, "Gods people delivered at midnight" has nothing to do with ANY calender and is irrelevant in terms of suggesting a "time frame" for the end of all things. So, why is it relevant to this thread, if not for the purpose of tieing in with the Jubilee calendar, the out of context Desire of Ages quote and the strike of midnight? This all feels very strange to me...
Gibs Posted November 17, 2011 Author Posted November 17, 2011 ClubV12, It's OK with me if you don't care for the significance of the Jubilee calendar but did you know it is the real and only reason for some prophecies to be a year for a day. We all have much to learn and much to unlearn and the ones who won't and don't investigate stay where they are. I was just pointing out EGW felt the time was getting close and did reveal the hour as I think it was revealed to her and I think it is scriptural too. Mt 25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Lu 17:34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. So we'll see no doubt not many years down the road. Let's all be ready our lamps kept full, the oil, the Holy Spirit, Christ in us the hope of glory. ClubV12 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I don't have a problem with the Jubilee calendar, I have a problem at the SUGGESTION (hidden agenda?) that it has any substantial meaning as to the end of time. I have a SERIOUS problem with taking Sister Whites quote from the Desire of Ages and applying it to the Jubilee calendar as a significant event. Not to mention that whole concept of "midnight" as meaningful as any kind of "time setting" for last day events! The whole concept of this is preposterous and flies in the face of Sister Whites counsel against setting dates, for anything. I find your theology quite fractured and not in harmony with the Spirit of Prophecy Gib's, in SO many areas. This is just one of many examples you have posted. I completely agree with much of what you say, but the truth you present is so infused with error I find it rather dangerous.
ClubV12 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Perhaps we could have a new thread and take a close look at your various doctrines. Like the 3.5 years of "something" to do with the end time events. Your beliefs on the timing of the "sealing" and the question of "are the 144,000" sealed already. In fact, WHO do you think the 144,000 are and what is their roll, might be interesting. Then there is the whole issue of the 1260,1290 and 1335 day/year considerations. I understand you reject the concept of a day equals a year in prophetic time. Which brings into question the 2,300 prophecy itself. We can probably forego the "home church" and the "Adventist church is in apostasy" issues. It's barely worth a discussion from my perspective and neither of us will gain much from it. The church will not fall, period. We have no reason to leave the church, under any circumstances, period.

There is a lot of differences on prophecy and here I am not going to get into it deep with you or probably will not post very many of my views, but because you ask, I tell you this, the 42 mos. of Rev 13: are not the 1260 years ending in 1798. For the simple reason these don't happen until after the deadly wound is healed. The following verses are connected and to separate them would be to miss the point, Re 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. Re 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? Re 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. If you don't see it, fine, I will let you run with your ideas. It will soon play out. I do have a full explanation of the total chapter of Rev chapter 13: and if I ever post it here it will be that I would answer no comments and the discussion would be of those who wanted to wrestle with it. It does not agree with U. Smith and does from verse 13 on with EGW I do believe. The end of the 2300 days each equalling a yr. came to fruitition in 1844 and the 70 wks. alloted to the Jews was was cut off the 2300 yrs. and ended AD 33, AD 34 started the dispensation to the Gentiles. There is a great reason people don't understand prophecy. I will just simply state it isn't for everyone out there. Da 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. ClubV12 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I see your point. It does appear you have totally rejected the Seventh-day Adventist position on this significant prophecy. I seriously doubt there is any hope of reconciliation on these points. You don't seem to understand just how many people on this forum are very deep bible students as well as students of the Spirit of Prophecy. The concepts you present are not new or startling, they have been around for years. They have been discussed in depth right here on this forum. Don't underestimate the ability of those who frequent the Theological Townhall to enter into the most profound areas of prophecy. As well, don't underestimate the number of wild ideas that also get presented on this forum. By the way, the ENTIRE 2,300 year prophecy and ALL the time frames within it, terminated in 1844. The 42 months, the 1260, 1290, 1335 YEAR segments are over, done, finished. And yes, a day equals a year, really. What is important right now, is Daniel 11:40-45, Islam vs NATO.
Gibs Posted November 17, 2011 Author Posted November 17, 2011 You didn't read and understand those 3 verses, the deadly wound was inflicted in 1798 and is at the total healing point again, now. I leave you to your interpretation of it. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Dr. Rich Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Gibs, I agree that the Jubilee Calendar is an important issue to talk about, but what IF the one person who is now dead, the same one as found in Rev. 2:18-26, was EGW and her teachings have caused the bondservants to become fooled into believing things that are really not true? Then what? What IF the wounded head was Israel/Jews? From my own study, the only group of the seven major religions today, who lost their way of worship was Israel/Jews. Are not they (the zionests) who rule the entire world because of their money machine? I don't have any problem with your opinion that we are the last generation on this earth that will be alive when Jesus comes as I fully agree with that. Revelation was not given to the world, muslims, christians or even the Adventists. It was written down by John so that the bondservants (144k) will know when Jesus is going to come, both like a thief in the night prior to the tribulation, and at the end after all things are finished and the 7th Trumpet has blown. (See Rev. 1:1)
Dr. Rich Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 So Club---are you saying that the time of trouble is over? If so, then can you show me in history where the seventh seal and the trumpets described in Rev. 8:7-12 and chapter 9 have taken place? Thanks.
Gibs Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 Gibs, I agree that the Jubilee Calendar is an important issue to talk about, but what IF the one person who is now dead, the same one as found in Rev. 2:18-26, was EGW and her teachings have caused the bondservants to become fooled into believing things that are really not true? (See Rev. 1:1) It would take a lot of time and writing for me to lay out what I see here and I would get so much flack that I don't care for and since it isn't too much of a salvation issue I'll put out a few things. First none seem to take any notice the crowns where on the heads of the beast in Rev 12: and in Rev 13: the crowns are now on the horns. The next notation is the Jewish dispensation ended at the termination of the 70 wks of years alloted to them and that prophecy is proved out that Messiah did die the middle of that wk. Then started the dispensation to the Gentiles. For me the establishment of the state of Israel is not of God but men. He has no interest in the continuing of sacrifices, His Son fulfilled that and it is over and done. Dr. Rich, I think there must be about as many views of prophecy as men who take an interest in it so I prefer I guess at this point to not go into much discussion on it. The forum would have to employ more hard drives and and higher speed computers before all would finally quit exhausted but no common ground still found. I see you are a real thinking man and rational snd I like that. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. ClubV12 Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 "You didn't read and understand those 3 verses, the deadly wound was inflicted in 1798 and is at the total healing point again, now." Your making another assumption Gibs. I never commented on 1798, my comment was that the 2,300 year prophecy terminated in 1844. And ALL the time segments WITHIN that prophecy have been fulfilled. The 1260, 1290 and the 1335 are in the past. Indeed the deadly wound WAS 1798. Do you know WHEN in the 1900's it took a substantial step toward the healing of that wound? 1929, when the Vatican was established and recognized by world leaders. The wound is indeed almost healed. The little time of trouble lays in the future, the close future. NOT as you see it Dr. Rich, with your totally bizarre take on the dates, the schedule of events, the last days interpretation of that prophecy. Whew, your take on it is so far out of the norm it make's Gib's take on it look almost reasonable! ...your both wrong of course, just in different degrees, thats my opinion.
Gibs Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 The deadly wound when inflicted put an end to martyrdom of the true ones of God and when it is finally healed will be when the martyrdom begins again with the true ones of God. That is just at the doors now, it hasn't happened yet. Argue the point if you care too. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. A Freeman In Jesus Christ
ClubV12 Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Well of course, we know history will repeat itself when the powers of the church and State combine. In terms of a calendar, we don't when this will occur, but it will. Personally I think there is more value for people to understand that before it comes to this it will become increasingly difficult for everyone in general and Adventists in particular. We see some of that unfolding right now. Near economic collapse, folks out of work, loosing their homes, no money, frustration levels mounting, crime and wickedness increasing. Those who have followed the counsel to leave the cities for small towns and/or a country lifestyle will soon be in much better shape than those trapped in the cities. Those that can grow their own food will be like Kings and Queens, if they aren't already!! Some folks attend church, Sunday or Sabbath church, for the business connections it presents. It's just good business in many cases, it's good community relationships. When the economy tanks, and it surely will, their reason for attending church will be removed. Why should they, when their is no tangible benefit anymore? They will leave. This, I believe will one of the first groups to abandon ship. Some will draw closer together, to help each other, to combine their resources, others will move farther apart as they seek to take care of themselves, with money and resources becoming more scarce they will be looking out for themselves. Those on welfare, food stamps and dependant on the State for their food, housing, life itself will move toward doing what ever the State demands of them, instead of looking to God and His counsel to be "self supporting". It will be very difficult for those "wards of the State" to cut off their only source of income. They will leave. The shaking will intensify slowly and over time, many won't even realize it is happening. I've heard a lot of Adventists declare, "God will provide". In a way that suggests they don't need to do any real preparation for themselves. Just sit back, trust in the Lord and He will take care of everything. He HAS taken care of everything by giving us counsel on HOW to prepare! Practical steps we can and should be taking right now. Not just for the end time events but because He wants us to be free from the influence of the world, the State, the reliance on others for our very lives.
Alchemy Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 This is to understand the Jubilee calendar. Please, forgive my not understanding all this math. 18 jubilee cycles of 50 years is 900 years. Right? Plus the last year of the 19th jubilee cycle would add 49 years. Right? 900 plus 49 years is 949 years old for Adam. Right? How old was Adam according to the Bible when he died? Or where am I wrong? Luke 12:32 NKJV
Gibs Posted November 19, 2011 Author Posted November 19, 2011 Alchemy, You didn't read careful enough, Jubilee cycles are 49 yrs.. The fiftiest year always falls on the first year of the next cycle and so doesn't disturb the recurring 7times7times7 unceasing. Adam lived into his 931'st year divided by 49 =19 Jubilee cycles and then the next yr. again was a Jubilee. Don't you see then that fiftiest is always 49 yrs. apart that way because it falls on yr. one of the next cycle. That only happens every 49 yrs. I explained that well enough in the first paragraph but I know some have the idea that Jubilees are 50 yrs. apart, well not so as that cannot be and can be proven. Glenn Moore lays it out well if you want to research into it more and I could dig up proof of it having to be 49 if I had to but I'd have to dig through my stuff. http://www.itsaboutthattime.net/Calendar_Synopsis.htm I didn't learn it from Gleen and have some differences but he is accurate on the dates all the way down and as an Adventist I know of proof dates he doesn't. Enjoy the trip there with Gleen. 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. A Freeman In Jesus Christ
ClubV12 Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 But,,,, why is it relevant, this calendar? Why do I "need to study" this at all? There are a LOT of things I need to study, not enough time to study them all.
