But you have not stopped posting. You did this post, plus atleast 2 others that I know of...

I have posted again, yes. I made the mistake of reading a 'reply' email ( I have been ignoring them, as I said I would ). I've pulled myself up, and I'm not going to read any replies. PM me if you want to talk to me.

The 144k will have perfect unity---'One with God' as they will be totally blameless and will not believe any lie. (Rev. 14:5)

How can they do this? By following ONLY the words of Jesus given to us by His eyewitnesses! It's just that simple. Matter of fact, I know of a group of SDA's who have been doing this and they are in complete unity. Sure, what they found is not the same as the majority, but then the narrow road will not have the majority travel on it either. It's your choice to believe in the words of Jesus or Paul. I choose Jesus as His words trump everyone else's words.

Jesus or Paul, Jesus OR Paul. Nah, That's not a choice that anyone has to make. Too bad you don't understand that my friend. If I could open your head and pour it in, I would. Poor fella.

So; are you "blameless" Dr Rich? (lol)

Dr Rich, I am not going to repeat myself. Paul never contradicted Jesus. People who think he did, are illiterate and/or deluded, probably by choice, because they love the idea of knowing things other people do not.

BibleOnly, If the question on the identification between the 'wheat' and 'tares' has confused you so that you can't answer this simple question, then perhaps it's a good thing that you not post anymore.

By the way, I am NOT playing any game! This is serious stuff and if you can't handle it then that is your choice. But know this, when one becomes a true bondservant for Jesus Christ, Satan will come down on them like a ton of bricks! This is NOT for the "cowardly" (Rev. 21:8)

I couldn't be sure.

The reason I said that, and I was taking a gamble, was from observing his other posts. I figured from things he has posted before, it seemed a little off for him. But I do agree you never know. You can't assume anything. :)

Try me! IF you find ONE lie and can prove it from the words of Jesus given to us from His eyewitnesses, then please be my guest and I will gladly accept this new truth. Remember, Jesus said that the Holy Spirit will lead the true followers into ALL truth, not part of it.

Also remember, I have said that I have NOT been sealed by God, therefore I have not been "Born Again by the Holy Spirit" and have become perfect. Yes, I have my faults so I guess you could say that I am not yet blameless. Sanctification is the end result of searching for truth and practicing that truth.

Overaged - you seem like a nice sort of guy. I am only being short with people who have been short with me, and who I don't want to waste my time. Yet, here I am being sucked back in, when I really want to stop posting. PM me if you want to chat. I posted a link to my church before. www.rci.org.au

LOL, well no one is forcing you to post; or are they? If they are let me know. I will take care of them for you..

Thanks for sharing that link to your church. I appreciated that. I really liked reading there about Pastor Lloyd Longfield and the ‘Tent Mission’, Australia, circa 1950s. That would have been nice to attend, I am sure! Looks like a lot of young people there too. Thats a good sign! I would sure love to visit Australia someday. Looks really nice there.

I personally don't think your lying Dr. Rich, I just see you not interpreting the Bible correctly.

thumbsup I agree. But in my mind - he is not attempting to interpret the Bible - he simply does not accept ALL of it.

A slight difference - but overall I agree with you.

Is there a good reason to accept all of the New Testiment? If so, can someone please present the evidence for this? Just because people have done this for a long time does not in itself make it the right thing to do. The earth is not flat my friends!

RLH, can you please tell me the real reason why Jesus delayed His coming? (Matthew 25:5) If you can't, then ask me and I will tell you IF you really want to know.

Oh, and please tell me what the difference is between a 'wheat' and a 'tare' while you are at it.

BTW-the answer to this is why everything written and said MUST conform and agree with the words of Jesus given to us by His eyewitnesses.

Trap? Like when Jesus told the accusers of the woman caught in adultry "he who is without sin cast the first stone"?

The answer, like it or not, is that NO ONE is/was yet ready because of their belief in lies--from the one who wrote Romans.

"Doctor" Rich; your diagnoses is unsupported by evidence

I am glad that King Jesus wrote the book of Romans; esp 8:28

Oh, I think the evidence is there that supports the FACT that much of the 'New Testament' was put there by fallible human beings (with a political agenda) to supply disinformation about what Jesus really said. Making the claim that the entire New Testament is the 'very words of God' negates the the concept that Jesus spoke of in Matt. 24:4 about seeing to it that no one deceive you. Jesus addressed this verse to His own disciples, cautioning them that even they could be deceived, and it is up to them to not allow these deceptions to take root. It would not, and indeed could not, have been the words of Jesus that would be the source of this deception; after all, Jesus CANNOT lie. So from whom would the words come that could cause deception? It must needs be from someone other than Jesus Christ Himself, who is the infallible source for truth.

This being the case, then claiming that the entire New Testament is the very words of God assures that the person believing this will certainly be deceived. There is only one way to avoid this, and that is to believe the words of the only person the words of whom are in the New Testament that CANNOT LIE; that would be Jesus Christ Himself, the words of whom were given to His own eyewitness disciples.

This is not to discount the other New Testament writers, except where what they say either disagrees with or diminishes what Jesus Christ said. The words of Jesus must always arbitrate truth.

Note: that the Council of Leodicea (325 AD) never intended to establish the New Testament 'canon' as an infallible authority. This was done much later, and by human convention, not by God. The purpose of the Council was to provide an amalgam of thought that would bring cohesion to an otherwise disparate and fracturing Roman Empire. To accomplish this purpose the 'canon' had to have the ability to please everyone. In this is was successful, at least for a time. It is for this reason alone that one can formulate the understanding that the 'truth of God' does not singularly inform the New Testament. The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth only unifies those for whom the truth provides meaning and purpose. Otherwise, the truth ALWAYS divides (note the reference of Jesus to the truth being a two-edged sword).

WHAT? LOL, and I suppose you believe the world is flat too? Talk about unsupported by evidence!

Evidene you want? Please read John 14:26 an 17:17-22 for evidence that will blow you out of the water! How about the prophecy in Isa. 8? How about Rev. 2:2, how about Rev. 2:18-26, how about Rev. 12:17, How about Matt. 19, just for starters? Now show me your evidence?
