Woody Posted March 24, 2012 Author Posted March 24, 2012 and they excel in the poop department. :) Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Overaged Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Wow. Thats a pretty nice looking dog! That kind of dog has such short legs; one would think he would prefer to not go in the deep snow! I'll bet your dog is a lot of fun! One of our dogs, a miniature schnauser, and something else, is so short too. He loves the deep snow, and charges right into it, but we have to keep an eye on him because he has gotten stuck a few times, and even disappeared the other day when he jumped into a drift. Very Funny. I can certainly visualize that. Yes, my dog does the same thing. It's kinda nice because he will almost never poop in the path. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Woody Posted March 24, 2012 Author Posted March 24, 2012 I've shared a few not too long ago OA. But I am so techy challenged that I don't do well trying to size them to be accepted here with the size requirements. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Woody Posted April 12, 2012 Author Posted April 12, 2012 Can you imagine the poop produced from this pooch? http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/326830/20120411/worlds-biggest-dog-great-dane-guinness-photos.htm Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Administrators Gail Posted April 12, 2012 Administrators Posted April 12, 2012 I love Great Danes! Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Woody Posted June 21, 2012 Author Posted June 21, 2012 Took my dog for a walk today - couple miles. But I have not figured the attraction to poop. He loves to eat poop. And he loves to pee on the areas where other dogs have done their thing. I just don't get this mentality. Praise God I don't have to pay every time he pees. He pees all over the place. Members phkrause Posted June 21, 2012 Members Posted June 21, 2012 Just like us, when we eat we than have to poop! Dogs pee to stake out there territory, obviously we don't. :) Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Administrators Gail Posted June 21, 2012 Administrators Posted June 21, 2012 Don't feel bad, Woody. Our male also has both those behaviours. Our little one waits at the chute for it to come out. :( Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

Actually, when my husband and I used to primitive camp, hubby would, in fact, pee all around our campsite to stake out our territory. It actually helps keep the critters away for a fact. Quote
