RE: Pam

"Double, double, toil and trouble. Witches brew and cauldrons bubble."

please don't anyone take it personally. It just came to mind when I saw that carton.

Also,

has anyone read "The China Study?" It is a book which discusses how the incidence of cancers is higher in areas where people eat more animal fats and milk proteins.

So - why did Jesus eat it?

Because he wasn't in the new earth yet for one. Nor was He living in our day where the meat is pumped full of steroids and hormones, and growth drugs, and processed so that almost nothing is wasted.

The way it was done then was perfectly healthy, and not a good comparison to meat eating today.

Why didn't Jesus limit the "harmful" things?

He did.

He didn't eat any processed foods at all. What do you think Jesus put into His body that was harmful?

What's to stop us from doing it that way now?

May we be one so that the world may be won.

Jesus as our example did.

Are you certain about that? I've read that he ate fish and lamb (I believe), but you'll have to show me examples about the other foods.

You are correct; the Bible does not condemn the eating of these.

He didn't. But the vegans think he did. That is why I put harmful in quotes.

Is that the way you do it? Because if it is, I'll shut up.

Another question then:

Did Jesus enjoy the taste of meat?

May we be one so that the world may be won.

Well Woody - I can answer that. In the scripture you quoted it says: "fetched a calf tender and good"

So apparently it was felt to be "good".

I don't have an answer for you, Woody, but I do remember this as well (maybe it'll help):[quote name="

Exodus 23:19

New American Standard Bible (NASB)"]19 “You shall bring the choice first fruits of your soil into the house of the Lord your God.

“ You are not to boil a young goat in the milk of its mother.
