Moderators lazarus Posted July 20, 2012 Moderators Posted July 20, 2012 BTW, Kenya was not a country at the time so you have no idea about history and the truth of the matter. Who said it was a country? It was a protectorate but it still had a census and was called the Kenya colony from 1920. This is beside the point. So can you address the responses I presented? Moderators lazarus Posted July 20, 2012 Moderators Posted July 20, 2012 I assume, by your "Koolaid" response that you think the state of Hawaii is part of the conspiracy too. Did you read the letter? It's all the proof you need. Argument settled. There is no reasonable response that can refute that letter from Hawaii unless you think the state of Hawaii is part of the conspiracy. Moderators lazarus Posted July 20, 2012 Moderators Posted July 20, 2012 President Obama is attacking Romney for being rich. No. I think he's attacking Romney's perceived strength. He's attacking those things that he's actually running on. Every politician attacks their opponent. The question is why is Romney so reluctant to release his returns. As Romney's wife alluded to, there will be more to attack. Of course this is a tough economic situation and of course he does not want to focus on that, who would? Running on adverting a collapse of the economy when folks have very short memories is not easy. Quote Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. Dr. Shane Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 The question is why is Romney so reluctant to release his returns. Romney already answered this question in the debates during the primaries. The question has been asked and answered. Obama just wants to beat the he-is-a-rich-white-guy drum. I get that. But I don't get sidetracked easy. I work in construction which is the hardest hit sector by this recession. I live in Texas which is a major energy-producing state. I don't get tricked into worry about tax returns when people are losing everything because Obama wants to have tomorrow's technology today and refuses to use the resources we have.
