JoeMo Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Amen, Naomi and Woody. If enough of us repent in our part of the abuse, publicly call for an end to it, and pray about it, we can stop it. Father God, In the name of Jesus we rebuke the name-calling and insults; and ask you to spread your kindness and consideration over this website! Thank you, Father! In Jesus name; AMEN! Quote

Moderators lazarus Posted August 19, 2012 Moderators Posted August 19, 2012 It was great that a GC VP had the courage to break ranks and speak his mind. Woody Posted August 20, 2012 Author Posted August 20, 2012 From a friend on FB - If one is going to use the argument that Jesus chose only male Disciples, does that mean He was anti woman? NO! Jesus lived on earth for 33 1/2 years and was single, does that mean He was anti marriage? NO! Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Very well put IMO Ernest is mistaken, bless his heart. By the way, the German Union may have just deferred to the wishes of the Division and agreed to wait on this issue. There is also an unconfirmed report I received tonight that Pennsylvania may have withdrawn their support for the CUC's WO agenda. Stay tuned and stay cool. Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted August 22, 2012 Administrators Posted August 22, 2012 By the way, the German Union may have just deferred to the wishes of the Division and agreed to wait on this issue. There is also an unconfirmed report I received tonight that Pennsylvania may have withdrawn their support for the CUC's WO agenda. Stay tuned and stay cool. G That is an untrue rumor regarding the German Union. The clear message directly from Germany is that they have not backed away from the voted decision to ordain women. They simply do not have any female candidates to ordain at this time. It would be more prudent and helpful for credibility to wait for official word before spreading unconfirmed rumors spread by and among those opposed to the actions taken. olger Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Ricardo Graham made a brief announcement about the German Union at the close of the PUC meeting - someone passed him a note apparently. Are you upset at Graham for "spreading rumors?" The Pennsylvania thing is true. I personally verified it yesterday. G Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."

Administrators Naomi Posted August 22, 2012 Administrators Posted August 22, 2012 Apparently 'true' is in the eye of the beholder. "Truth is one absolute, sages call it by various names" - Rig Veda however, I have never heard it called in the eye of the beholder. Somehow always thought the line is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God
Woody Posted August 22, 2012 Author Posted August 22, 2012 Truth ---- Beauty ----- Same thing in the eye of Woodyisms. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
