Moderators Denise Posted August 18, 2012 Moderators Posted August 18, 2012 Here is some information regarding ordination of women. It goes into Discovering God's Design for Men and Women, Discover the startling roots of popular thinking in our world today, How did we get here, and where are we heading? Very deep information. If you don't appreciate the SOP as well, it's best you do not read this. There are 4 parts to this. When you get to the web page, you will see all 4 parts where you can click on whichever you want to look at, or click on the entire 4 parts. I hope this can be a blessing for those who will read this with prayerful hearts. Click here Quote Be Kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another... Moderators Denise Posted August 18, 2012 Author Moderators Posted August 18, 2012 It's awesome! I have studied this before on this, but I really like the way she put this together. Enjoy! And happy Sabbath! Quote Be Kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another... Monticello Georgia

teresaq Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 WOW! I'm up to page 35 and other than 6 mostly partial quotes I see very little EGW. Quote: (Please notice: If you do not appreciate the Spirit of Prophecy, it is highly probable that you will not appreciate the message in this presentation. However, if you do believe that God has spoken through Ellen G. White, and you desire to appropriate the light He has given, you will no doubt rejoice in the message that is presented! The purpose is simply to present important truth for this time which will help us to draw closer to our Lord. May God bless you as you read.) Please tell me the writer does not equate herself with Ellen White! She does quote John Piper an avowed 'headshipper'. It looks very much like false advertising. Ok, folks. I am not really interested in reading either this lady's opinions, with all due respect, nor John Piper's, so please tell me how many EGW quotes are actually in her series and on what pages. I will then look those up in their contexts minus the editorializing of this lady (and racy pics) and any further influence of John Piper coloring those thoughts of EGW. Thank you and much appreciated. Quote facebook. /teresa.quintero.790

teresaq Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Oh. Did you find more than 6 partial quotes of EGW after the first 35 pages of the author's opinions and her endorsement of John Piper? doug yowell Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Seems like there are many women out there who don't buy the WO arguments. Quote

teresaq Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Seems like there are many women out there who don't buy the WO arguments. Do you even know what the arguments are, Doug? If all anyone reads is what is against WO, how could anyone know if the arguments for are wrong? And if people have read and disagreed with the arguments for WO, why the, why aren't they posting them and showing what they see as error in the reasoning? (That would be referring to the many bible studies made, not 'feminism', 'Virginia Slims', 'my mother said', 'semen', 'what the issue is', well hopefully I spelled it out enough without having to list all the irrelevant unbiblical thoughts against WO) Its a lot easier to come up with opinions then to really search and study, let me tell you! Talk about time-consuming! not to mention the time spent in earnest prayer! Quote facebook. /teresa.quintero.790

olger Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 We have heard your evidence, we have understood your arguments, and we have searched Scripture for ourselves to see if these things were true. When you say women can be elders and pastors, what you are saying is simply not faithful to Scripture; it is not what Scripture teaches. Go in peace, oG Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
teresaq Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Thank you for posting your opinion,it was very interesting and informative. Your welcome. So would you like to pick out studies by the Pro WO and show how you see them in error? Quote facebook. /teresa.quintero.790
