One Tin Soldier ... I loved that song ... and the movie!

If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God

Terry and Susan Jacks- coastal BC stock. She still does the odd fundraising concerts for the Kidney Foundation, I think it is.

Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

Terry Jacks spoke at the music school I went to in 1989. Seemed like a very nice guy. I know a couple guys that did a bit of studio stuff with him way back, they said he was really quiet

Too Shy--by Kajagoogoo

99 Luftballoons--by Nena (she was Russian I think? and didn't understand a word of English, yet she sang this song in English--LOL those were the days.)

For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Mat. 16:26

I just remember being very little (I was 3 in 1963) and hearing that on the radio a lot.

I saw Billy Jack 5 times in the theatre. We couldn't get enough of it. They should have made a sequel.

<<SNIFF!!>> It usually makes people feel better about themselves when they can laugh at other people's shortcomings. If you think that's bad; I used to own vinyl by Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, too; but I have deeply repented. As long as I'm confessing my sins, I once won a disco dancing contest, too scared

I heard Gary Puckett sing at a fireworks show in Michigan on the 4th of July 1988, and again this summer in August at the New York State Fair. He was part of the Happy Together's tour which had the Buckinghams, The Grass Roots, Gary Puckett, Mickey Dolan and the Turtles. I had to leave after the frist Mickey Dolan song to return my mom's rented huvearound and got back as he left and the Turtles came on, the Turtles just ended by calling up the others for the grand fanaly. However I was impressed that the 3 bands that I heard and had their ending, the Buckinghams and the Grass Roots both ended their portion with "Good night and God bless" and Gary Puckett closed with "Good night and God bless, all glory to God"

Two year ago Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits was also singing at the New York State fair and between songs someone off stage asked him a question, he said "What was that?" "Do I Love Jesus?" "Yes, I do" "What?" "No, I don't have any Jesus songs that I sing in consert" "How about a dance for Jesus" and he did a little soft shoe, then said "I don't think anyone has ever asked me that in public before and it is a very important question, and yes I do love Jesus" and continued on with his program. (He was also impressive by staying behind to sign autographs and meet people, then there was a time where he was told it was time to leave to catch his plane and he was saying "I have to go" when he said "Wait, give me 5 more minutes" and when the 5 minutes were up he said "Give me two more minutes" and then "One more minute then I have to go" spending an extra 8 minutes with people.
