bonnie Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Tom, everyone knew what she meant. All of us make typos in the forums and on the net. The fact that you felt the need to point out such a trivial thing shows just how small you are. Such a shame. Isn't it funny? That is supposed to show intelligence. But when talking about our ridiculous voting laws that is about all they have. Without voter ID requirements how in the world would anyone believe that those that are here illegally and use false ID for everything else would suddenly say,OOPs,I must be a citizen to participate, don't want to break the law. The nonsense of voter repression because you have to have ID is either their view of those in less than ideal circumstances being utterly stupid or totally dishonest. The process of proper identification only scares those to lazy, stupid or dishonest. The special group of the poor already have had to have ID to receive benefits,or DO THEY? Helping an elderly neighbor sign up for benefits required quite a bit of information, including two forms of ID.Was that because she was white or more intelligent than the "Poor on a pedestal" group? I have to go thru the yearly process of going over my supplemental insurance for any changes I wish to make. Funny how they expect me to have ID and if you don't have one the little notice of providing information as to where to obtain, free or very reasonable Any senior citizen already has sufficient ID.Certainly can't get SS or medicare without it. Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted November 12, 2012 Administrators Posted November 12, 2012 Tom, everyone knew what she meant. All of us make typos in the forums and on the net. The fact that you felt the need to point out such a trivial thing shows just how small you are. Such a shame. Uh yes, everyone knew what she meant... And yes, typos do happen. People point them out. Sometimes funny. Sometimes embarrassing. Most often neither. Angry or humorless reactions are really very small-minded under such circumstances. Be big enough to laugh at yourself. It just struck me as an amusingly ironic typo... (I've been know to have made far more embarrassing typos myself. Real whoppers, in fact.) Maybe a sense of humor was the biggest loser in this election. Really, get some perspective... Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." "Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." "I love God only as much as the person I love the least." *Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth. (And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)

bonnie Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Happy Birthday bonnie!!!!!!! You goof.LOL Being that the forum is not on US time I haven't made it yet but am on my way. The DR is drunk and my dad is on the way to get the vet.No such luck,he is out in the field delivering a cow. Thank goodness the midwife walked thru a terrible storm to check on my mom. She said a little voice wouldn't leave her alone.I would not have made it and questionable my mother had she not listened to that little voice. No "right wing masters" That was the beginning of my conservative beliefs.Never found my parents advice to be to far wrong Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. Dr. Shane Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Since this is a private forum I will feel free to share this here. Just so everyone knows what is going on with Shane. Shane has been a Mr. Mom for the past year and still is. I am not divorced, wife is at home with me and the kids but she is here in body so to speak. She is getting help and working on issues but in the meantime I am pretty much doing everything. I get the kids up in the morning, put them to bed at night, pack their lunches, get them off to school, help them with their homework, wash their clothing, fold their clothing, clean the house, do the dishes, buy the groceries, do the yard work while I am also building on a 1,000 square-foot addition to our home. My wife does cook about half of the time. On top of all that I am trying to be emotionally nurturing to my wife and do what I can to get our marriage back on track (if that is possible - it's a God thing) I still attend 12-step recovery meetings twice a week and take the kids to church on Sabbath. I am on a waiting list to get the kids in family counseling. So I am not online as much as I use to be. Oh how I long for those good old days.... But I am still here if anyone gets abusive and I need to edit anything feel free to let me know. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity
