Ted Oplinger Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Makes my day! Oh wait...someone else with a rather huge handgun said that also....... ! Blessings, Quote "As iron sharpens iron, so also does one man sharpen another" - Proverbs 27:17 "The offense of the cross is that the cross is a confession of human frailty and sin and of inability to do any good thing. To take the cross of Christ means to depend solely on Him for everything, and this is the abasement of all human pride. Men love to fancy themselves independent. But let the cross be preached, let it be made known that in man dwells no good thing and that all must be received as a gift, and straightway someone is offended." Ellet J. Waggoner, The Glad Tidings "Courage is being scared to death - and saddling up anyway" - John Wayne "The person who pays an ounce of principle for a pound of popularity gets badly cheated" - Ronald Reagan

But if you don't see a progression, then you are willfully blind. A danger to yourself and others. None of those things were "Gun Control". Or I should say "People Control", because that's all it is. Moderators lazarus Posted April 15, 2013 Moderators Posted April 15, 2013 Fundamental constitutional rights have already been taken. The 2nd amendment didn't help. At what point will YOU take up arms? Quote Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. OzarkWoman Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 It doesn't happen over night. But if you don't see a progression, then you are willfully blind. A danger to yourself and others. None of those things were "Gun Control". Or I should say "People Control", because that's all it is. Actually, the aptriot Act is people control. And when you look at most everything else that has been done over the past 50 or more years, it is definitely about control, controling the people to get to the point where they will accept things like the Patriot Act, which of course, they did. Members phkrause Posted April 15, 2013 Members Posted April 15, 2013 And this is how they will be able to enact a Sunday Law, for the good of the country, etc. Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Moderators lazarus Posted April 18, 2013 Moderators Posted April 18, 2013 Actually, the aptriot Act is people control. Are you against the patriot act? Controlling people = controlling guns because guns don't kill people, people do. Quote Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. OzarkWoman Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 YES, I am against the Patriot Act. It isn't there to protect. It is there to control and nothing more. Quote
bonnie Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 YES, I am against the Patriot Act. It isn't there to protect. It is there to control and nothing more. The Patriot Act is another law rushed thru "for the good of the country" At the time the fear was understandable but still a very wrong law Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this. Quotes by Susan Gottesman
