I know that i am not "normal". If most people are what is considered "normal", then I am glad to not be.

AND the conclusion is "most people think they are normal"

If I was dying, does that place me in the "normal" catagory?

If I was dying at the slowest possible rate, does that place me in the 'normal' category?

If I was living, at the fastest possible rate, does that place me in the "normal" category?

If I was living at the slowest possible rate, does that place me in the "normal" category?

Just askin'.......

That's funny because I just came to the conclusion that everyone has some type of abnormality according to the DSM, that everyone falls into the spectrum in there somewhere. LOL

Normal is amazing. I wouldn't want to be anything less than normal.

It's all relative

If everyone could just see things my way then I would be normal

What is "normal"?

No one is willing to answer this...

Is it normal to live a life dying?

We are all dying...some just slower than others? Some are dying a death that is unnatural...And just what is an "unnatural" death? Some deaths are strange....Spiritual deaths, physical deaths, are these "normal"?

How does one die a spiritual death? Are spiritual deaths "normal"?

Physical death is not the worst thing that can happen to a person, but spiritual death is.

What is normal, or what everyone experiences, is not necessarily in God's plan. He is going to change our normal for us. I think we'll like it better.

It sounds like you've been doing some thinking...

I think a characterization of "spiritual death" is in order to compare with what is also concidered as "being normal"....Care to oblige?

We expound upon what God will do to "change our normal for us"...but an understanding of what that is, specifically, is needed and under what circumstances...We had a sermon on forgiveness yesterday...we also had the consequences of our non-forgiving attitude directed back at us as being tortured...

the question then becomes "is a spiritual death a living death?"...How is that any different to 'normal'? How is that different than to live a life the Christ wanted...that is "living to die"? Indeed, I have been crucified with Christ. My ego is no longer central. It is no longer important that I appear righteous before you or have your good opinion, and I am no longer driven to impress God. Christ lives in me.Gal 2;19

Maybe you thought I was thinking that I thought that being normal was normal?

Perhaps 'normal' is an abysmal thought.....

and with that, perhaps I will go offtobed

I will never reduce you to just a thought....maybe as insignificant in your opinions, maybe ...but a thought...never!

And even in your "insignificance", you are in my thoughts...smile
