Administrators Gail Posted August 2, 2013 Administrators Posted August 2, 2013 Another in the latest series of stupid dreams that I have: I dreamt of a pool, a small swimming pool, that was just bigger than a treadmill for exercising with. It was set up alongside a treadmill for anyone who wanted to swim some distance. There was a current in the pool made by jets at the front. If the swimmer touched the front end of the pool too often the jets would strengthen the current. If the swimmer's toes touched the back end of the pool then the jets would slow the speed of the current. That was the dream. Now if there is anyone in this kingdom that can interpret the dream, let me know. I dreamt that I could purchase a hot tub for 50% off with free shipping. If only there were an interpreter of dreams among us... Quote

LifeHiscost Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 In a recent gathering of fellow believers I mentioned the fact of reading a comment that 4 out of 5 individuals using public pools "do things" in the pool. The pastor that was in attendance went close to ballistic because I had brought up a thought that now made it impossible for him to enjoy one of his favorite occupations. Perhaps reaching the front end of the pool (end of the task) and the water current increasing represents the feeling that things get harder at the end and needs more energy to finish. When the toes reached the back end of the pool and the current decreased, then perhaps, this could represent an "ease of pressure" by not trying so hard to finish the task. don't know...just guessing... It is a bit larger than you saw in your dream, but still only big enough for one person to use at a time. I don't know if it has the automatic speed change feature though. There is an advertisement add that pops up on this board that says something to the effect of "You can stop dreaming about and endless pool and buy one bla bla" and it shows a picture and tells about it. That was my whole point in my original post about the HOT TUB because the hot tub was right beside it at 50% off. So I thought that you were just being sneakidly funny sarcastic with your post. So now, if you actually had a real dream, and you're not just messing with us, maybe it was a subliminal result from seeing the ad flash in front of you on this site. Quote

I am dead serious, I had never heard of such a thing, I don't remember ever seeing the ad, never knew it existed. But that doesn't mean it didn't. I believe you, Hair. I have had a dream like this before, only that time there were lines of small pools used as baptismal pools, rectangular ones, on a beach. They were not being used at all, they were just there. That dream was so vivid that I thought I should sketch it (I have a sketchbook to record my weird dreams). It really sucks to be me sometimes!
